Finally A TRUE American Hero. Not like that fake Kerry or dodger Bush. Let''''s see Obama and Clinton try and Swiftboat this guy. I can just see it now - McCain rips off his shirt during a debate and shows his scars. Love it.

A "true hero"?

Exactly what heroic act(s) did he perform?

I am impressed that the wright hamas article is getting this many responses. To think that its that important to turn americans off. Obama admits that wright published it. Sure he said he didnt know about it, what would you say? Until Obama himself can explain why his church is pro-hamas and anti-american and thinks of the White Race as Devils, I will continue. I want to make sure everyone can memorize it, so get use to it.

I haven''t seen anything on alleged article. This alleged Hamas link to Obama is garbage. It never materialized, and it was dismissed as bunk a few hours after it broke.

You''re the only idiot trying very, very desperately to try and make it into an issue, by spamming the boards over and over, with the same idiotic message, that no one is reading.

McSame is not going to make any attempt to EVER get our troops out of Iraq. If you like seeing our troops die for nothing, our economy spiral downwards, and think that our currently broken health care system is perfectly acceptable, then vote for McSame.

OBAMA TIES TO HAMAS

The Jewish Telegraphic Agency today reports that the Wright, Jr., long-time pastor of Obama, published an op-ed piece signed by a Hamas leader.

McCain Response To Housing Crisis: %u2018It%u2019s Like Katrina%u2019 To Say %u2018Let People Suffer%u2019;

Last week, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) spoke to the Orange County Hispanic Small Business Roundtable in California on solving the nation%u2019s economic woes. During that speech, he stated that he does not believe the federal government should assist struggling homeowners:

I have always been committed to the principle that it is not the duty of government to bail out and reward those who act irresponsibly, whether they are big banks or small borrowers.

McCain instead advocated a laissez faire approach, saying that he would %u201Cconvene a meeting of the nation%u2019s accounting professionals%u201D and %u201Ctop mortgage lenders%u201D and try to persuade them to voluntarily help Americans.

Today on ABC This Week, former Labor secretary Robert Reich and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman compared McCain%u2019s approach to Herbert Hoover. %u201CJohn McCain makes Herbert Hoover look like an activist,%u201D said Reich. Krugman then added that ignoring the housing crisis is just as bad as the administration%u2019s response after Hurricane Katrina:

It would be a little different if the administration said housing prices are going up. If they hadn%u2019t said there%u2019s no bubble. It%u2019s a national disaster in effect. It%u2019s like Katrina. To say, oh, let people suffer, saying let those people who made the mistake of staying in New Orleans suffer.

OBAMA TIES TO HAMAS

The Jewish Telegraphic Agency today reports that the Wright, Jr., long-time pastor of Obama, published an op-ed piece signed by a Hamas leader. The item appeared in the July 22, 2007 edition of his Trinity United Church newspaper on the "Pastor''''''''''''''''s Page." Justifies attacks on Israeli civilians, and carries a supporting introduction by Mr. Wright.

Obama issued a statement strongly condemning these views of his pastor. "I certainly wasnt in church when that outrageously wrong [Hamas] piece was re-printed in the bulletin.

Obama is a long-time member of Trinity United, and his financial contributions to his church are reported to be substantial ("All told, the [Obama] couple gave $27,500 to [Trinity United] in 2005 and 2006," according to the New York Times of March 26). His moral support to the church has been unwavering. As more and more and more details of the extremist political positions of the church are revealed, Obamas response has been to distance himself from these, but also to repeat, over and over, that he didn''''''''''''''''t know, that he wasn''''''''''''''''t there.

I find it very difficult to believe that an intelligent, energetic, and very political man like Obama is perpetually ignorant about what goes on in the church to which he devotes so many of his resources. If he does get to the White House....

Experience as what? In the same legislative body with Clinton and Obama? Perhaps McCain can fly his Skyhawk much better than Bush an F102, but his flight of ideas leaves concern...

And though I regret being the first to break the news, McBush has endorsed most ruinous policies of Bush, if only out of partisan loyalty.

In his finest hypocrisy, Reagan once said the GOP has a stern commandment, "Thou shalt not speak ill of another Republican." Although McBush has better adherence to conservative principle, by his Heritage imprimatur, McBush endorses the general Bush misdirection.

No, we can''t simply pack up and leave Iraq-- but we can''t stay a century, either. Both Obama and Clinton are needed to make that clear.

Even seemingly intelligent GOP types will not take responsibility for the hijacking of their own principles-- such as they are-- by the neocons and their frontman, George Bush.

The smear tactic of "membership implies total endorsement" was used heavily by McCarthy to divide Americans, and always at the expense of truth.

Truth is rarely black-and-white, but usually nuanced, detailed and complex. This is why a speaker''s education level is related to his ability to make accurate and unsimplistic judgments.

And clearly, group affiliation does not mean uniform endorsement. Isn''t McCain proud of his GOP badge-- but equally insistent we do not torture prisoners-- Gonzales, Cheney and Bush, to the contrary?

Said McCain, "This is not about them. It%u2019s about us..."

JFK remarked his administration could not be held responsible for a certain controversial loose cannon, since the speaker already had made it clear JFK did not speak for him.

Obama''s clear statement of where he stands will satisfy all but partisan opposition-- but you have made that much very clear.

Hillary doesn''t have enough experiance to be president and Obama is to anti-American to even be living here. All those two can do is see how much of there supporters hard earned money they can waste while they argue about a bunch of bull@$%*. Where as John McCain isn''t trying to break the bank while he''s campaigning. He does''t like the war any more than you or I do, but you can''t just pack up and leave. pulling that many troops out takes time. As soon as we get RID of Bush, McCain is the only one with the experiance to get the job done.

John %u201CBush lite%u201D McCain, the senile septuagenarian, has his work cut out defending the war started by one of the most arrogant, corrupt, incompetent, and disgraceful presidents in US history. The more McCain talks about Iraq, and Vietnam, two wars that should not have been, the more votes his loses. The more he talks about his foreign policy experience while making gaffes about Iran training Al Qaeda the more ridiculous and out of touch with reality he looks

hey Obama8years MY only question is why bother with the ROVE TALKING POINTS when you can look at REALITY?

BIN LADEN admitted to being RESPONSIBLE for 9/11.

BIN LADEN''S FAMILY got an "escorted" RIDE HOME when NO other civilians could fly.

There are SEVERAL people that SWEAR they could have taken BIN LADEN OUT but WERE DIVERTED.

BIN LADEN''S STATED GOAL was to BANKRUPT the US.

BIN LADEN is FREELY making MORE movies and tape SINCE 9/11.

BIN LADEN is part of a BILLIONAIRE SAUDI family and some have been found to have contributed to his cause.

This nation has some of the most advanced SATELLITE and tracking technology on EARTH yet CAN''T seem to "find" a 6 foot tall DIALYSIS patient with an ENTOURAGE.

You want CONSPIRACY? I RECOMMEND you look at the people holding you leash.

No undecided voters are going to be swayed by McCarthyite attacks like this.

If anything, they will sway voters toward Obama.
