So let me get this straight. Chelsea want to be a surragate for the campaign but not have to asnwer uncomfortable questions? That''s rediculous!

If Hillary had not been running on all she had to go through - sob sob, while in the Whitehouse, then fine the questions is moot. But she is running on this as if she is the downtrodden cheated on woman. Give me a break. I remember the reports of Bill fooling around when he was running in 1992 and Hillary did not know it then. Please. This is all just a ploy by Hillary.

How can claiming ignorance of this issue and other biggers issues like the Iraq War vote make her more qualified to be President. Cripe!~

Some say that I, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, should have spent Easter weekend in Chappaqua, writing my withdrawal speech and preparing for my return to the Senate. They ask why I stay in the %u201908 race when Obama has an insurmountable lead in states, delegates, and popular vote. My strategy is for victory in the 2012 presidential election. I will continue to pursue several lines of attack on Obama including denouncing his experience, blaming him for the fiascos in Michigan & Florida, and even praising our Republican rival Senator John McCain as more patriotic and experienced than Obama. My goal is to do extensive damage to Obama to ensure that he looses the general election in %u201908 and pave the way for my eventual election in 2012! It%u2019s a HILLARYOUS strategy, but I will be president by any means necessary.

tell me when you were a slave...you must be very very old...
can you tell me any of your pasts relatives names that were slaves...

Beating, burning and raping happened long after slavery and even happens to this day. My family lives in TX. In 1997 a black man was tied to a pick up truck and dragged until he was dead--done by a group of good ol boys. We know this stuff still happens and want to pretend it does not. Blacks are still the butts of jokes, and the political bogey man to scare up the white vote (happened in 2006 in TN) When I lived in Iowa and in fact, even on my last visit there, a black waiting at a counter can wait for a long time, while they are ignored and all the whites are helped. It still goes on, all the time--it''s just that--if it isn''t happening to you --then maybe you can''t see it.
And as for lynchings, when I was in school in the 1970s and 1980s in Indiana, there were signs in certain parts of town proudly displayed that read: ******* don''t let us catch you here when the sun goes down.

This was in Terre Haute, Indiana. Stuff still happens, you don''t really think that girl being imprisoned and repeatedly stabbed and raped and burned in VA while being called racial slurs was a joke now do you? Wait. Don''t answer that.

The issue of racism in the United States can''''t be solved by just one race. Until everybody lets go of old grudges that happened 100 years ago, it will continue to be an issue. It''''s that simple.

LOL. And what do they do with the racist things still occurring now? Ignore them and they will go away? LOL

To those of you who admire Chelsea, are you admiring her expensive haircut or her expensive clothes? She knows her mom and dad are big liars. She supports liars. She supports liars who lie to the American public. She wants a liar to be the next United States president. She is helping her liar mom to lure young adult voters. I''''d be disgraced to have a daughter with such poor judgment.

Why wouldn''t she support them? That is all the family she has ever known. Lying is perfectly natural to them and to her. Evidently you did not hear her lie to defend her mum on the Bosnia lies. When asked about how were they able to keep safe with all the gunfire, Chelsea replied that the secret service and military personnel kept her mom and her safe.

When the person pressed and said, was their any gun fire at all, Chelsea deferred to her mum and said her mom at already answered those questions and she was just sooo honored to have been there with her and to have been a part of it all.... See the clip...LOL

This kid is an idiot. He''s giving a Butler education a bad name. Nobody with more than a half a brain would have asked this question not realizing that a question about her fathers affair would bring out an angry response. If anything it shows that Chelsea Clinton is human and not some ************ campaigning tool. Its amazing to me that anyone would be so stupid to not realize that this is the response that he would get. I hope that the University of Butler takes a long look at their application process in order to prevent more idiots from attending their college and making the hard working intelligent students who attend the school look like morons.

"Evan Strange, a Butler University student, said he had asked Chelsea Clinton her opinion..."

You can stop it right there, her opinion is her own, and she is entitled to keep it to herself, so she was correct, it is none of anyone''s business.

And I would not call what Chelsa said a "stinging rebuke". Can say sensationalistic journalism?

Their asking for $100,000 thousand dollars each...whatever.....

Posted by kstar42 at 08:06 PM : Mar 26, 2008

they also swear allegiance to their mother land...I''''d have no problem buying them all a one way ticket back...maybe then they''''d shut the fvck up once they got there. You never hear them say it was the black man that sold them to the white man that brought them over hear. You never hear them talk about the fact that black people in Africa are still selling other blacks into slavery or servitude.

Yes, emotional well-being is directly linked with physical well-being, but realizing that will not help racism I''m afraid.

Why do you think there is so much sickness in the world...I''ll tell you...It''s the way you think....cancer is caused by the deep hurt and longstanding resentment.. arthritis-feeling unloved and criticism...high blood pressure longstanding emotional problems....I could go on...if people would see what there doing to themself...they would stop this anger.

I would choose forgiveness, of course. But, I was making an illustration to try to help people understand where feelings like this come from. Right or wrong. And forgiveness is not something that comes easily even though it is necessary.

My point is simply this. I HATE the man that did that to him and always will and that little story is NOTHING compared to the "family stories" that must run in black families all accross America. Just sayin''''

I truley believe that when you continue to hate and have issues with these stories...you will become what you preach or think! When a person can forgive then the healing begins...when you keep living that life...then you become bitter and angry and what goes around comes around....so if your bitter bad things will come your way..when you forgive then good things come your way.....which one would you choose?

Hey, ease up. I get exactly what he is saying. It makes perfect sense. I just want to know if there is a solution, because, I as a white person who had nothing to do with slavery would like to lay the whole race thing to rest. But, I don''t think that can be done unless white people really, really understand what happened instead of trying to dismiss it simply because it "was a long time ago, and all the slaves are dead" I would say that most black people have family stories still alive in their families. And, I would say that their family stories are very different from my white family stories. An example could be this: My father told me of something that happened to him when he was a child. A local well-to-do man in the community walked up to my father, a poor white boy in town, and offered him a lollipop fresh out of his grocery bag. My dad reached up for it and said "thank you". Just as his fingers got to the candy, the man put it back in his bag, smirked and walked away. My father never forgot that, and was saddened by it at different times in his life even as an adult. My point is simply this. I HATE the man that did that to him and always will and that little story is NOTHING compared to the "family stories" that must run in black families all accross America. Just sayin''
