Why isn''t anyone asking Hillary about her association with Reverend Wright? He was at the White House praying with Bill and her. But noone wants to ask her that question. If she wins god will have damned America

The theology that Wright has been teaching Obama and others is called black liberation theology, which is based upon the struggle between the white oppressor vs. the black oppressed. This is why Wright refers to Jesus as black, and his killers as white, so that the story of Jesus fits within this brand of theology. Wright cites James Cone, another black liberation theologist, as his inspiration. Here are just a couple of his quotes: 1.To be Christian is to be one of those whom God has chosen. God has chosen black people. 2.While it is true that blacks do hate whites, black hatred is not racism. 3.All white men are responsible for white oppression. 4.Theologically, Malcolm X was not far wrong when he called the white man the devil. 5.Black theology refuses to accept a God who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community. If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill Gods who do not belong to the black community %u2026 Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love. ** The teachings of Obama''s "mentor and spiritual adviser" are racist and divisive.

JamieSmith8,
Don''t be a coward if you''re a bigot admit it instead of posting absurd comments.

The democratic party is a pro-choice party and so is Hillary but she enjoys high support from Catholics even though Catholic religion and their priests are pro-life. So people are independent from their church or priest. According to you catholic democrats should confront their priests about their pro-life stand and child molesting? The Christians preach forgiveness yet a lot of evangelicals and Catholics support the death penalty.

Life is not just black and white, it has gray areas, people are entitled to have their own opinion and you can disagree without imposing your view on them.

You are also being a hypocrite, as a citizen have you spoken or written to the government about these issues?
1)late response to New Orleans hurricane Katrina
2)CIA introduction of crack cocaine to black neighborhoods in California in the early 80s to fund foreign wars?
3) black men making up 50% of those in jail, 1million although blacks are 12% of the population. whites use drugs 5 times as much as blacks yet more blacks get convicted.
4)tuskegee syphilis experiment in which 400 poor blacks'' late stage of syphilis went untreated as an experiment to observe the effects of syphilis on blacks.

Why did they leave the states for Easter? I guess Michelle isnt proud to be an American this week and she wanted to get away from the white man''''s US. She can come back when Barry gets elected and makes it a Black mans US. Sounds like a Rev. Wright or Rev. Moss sermon doesnt it?

Genealogist Christopher Child said that while the candidates often focus on pointing out differences between them, their ancestry shows they are more alike than they think.

"It shows that lots of different people can be related, people you wouldn''t necessarily expect," Child said.

Obama has a prolific presidential lineage that features Democrats and Republicans. His distant cousins include President George W. Bush and his father, George H.W. Bush, Gerald Ford, Lyndon Johnson, Harry S. Truman and James Madison. Other Obama cousins include Vice President *** Cheney, British Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill and Civil War General Robert E. Lee.

My observation is this, if either Sen. Clinton or Sen. Obama wins the Democratic nomination, enough of either Voters will not support the other in which case when you add Ralph Nader siphoning off Votes as well it will tip the balance to Sen. McCain and he will win! The only way for Democrats to win the White House at this point is a forced "Shot Gun Wedding" between Sen. Clinton and Sen. Obama on a Clinton/Obama or Obama/Clinton Democratic Ticket! But that is not enough, they both must make the match look sincere and authentic for it to work and to bring Voters along. I think anything short of this at this point will lead to a McCain victory in the fall.

Brilliant speech but wrong topic and did not face the issue at hand. Where was the judgment and moral courage to step in and say to his minister that he is wrong. Is this not the responsiblity of a Senator? How would he tell anyone else they are wrong or stand up to the rights and wrongs in the world? If he did have this conversation he never identified that. There was no leadership shown as he should have spoke out when Wright was wrong.

I think the question is whether "Obama" is the right guy to be the first Black President.

Is he really mainstream enough to lead a whole nation.
