Comments on: Carville Won't Apologize For Judas Remark
Clinton Adviser Compared Bill Richardson To Judas
- We have all lost our sense of humor in this political horserace. No matter which side you are on, James Carville had a great line here. It is truly worth a smile anyway! And when Blitz and the boys tried to make some hay out of his comments, he replies that he was quoted correctly, the quote was not taken out of context, and it was exactly what was intended. How refreshing!!!
The candidates all have been walking on eggshells trying not to make a strategic error in their responses or comments. How can we ever settle on a candidate when everyone is trying to be so politically-correct?
Let the election run its course. Politics is, has been, and always will be one candidate saying why she should be the Democratic candidate and that her opponent should not. Here is why I am the best candidate and here is why he is not. Simple as that. Whoops, did I say her and she? Go Hillary! - Reply to this comment

- Carville''s analogy can only mean the Hillary is like Jesus Christ.
Excuse me, Mr. Carville, I know Jesus. And believe me. Hillary is no Jesus! - Reply to this comment

- Hang in there James. It''s a sad day when a person who helped advise this man has to apologize for an honest opinion. Governor Richardson certainly enjoyed all the success he had in the Clinton administration, but he just couldn''t wait to join the Obama fake racist agenda.
I thought Governor Richardson had some excellent experience, but his bad judgment has overridden everything he gained with the support of the Clintons. - Reply to this comment
- Richardson likes to come off as a humble, Hispanic guy from NM.... PLEASE! He was educated in the Northeast, Middlesex Prep and then Tufts University for five years, the latter got him an educational deferement. He has now simply lined up to the trough that lokks the most appealing.
Carville may have a big mouth but at least he earned his Globe & Anchor in the Corps before he went to law school. - Reply to this comment
- Carville is simply typical of the sleaze the Clintons gather. You''d think they were Republicans! Indeed, the reason that Clintons and Bushes get along so well is that they are so alike.
Any means to the end they want.
McCain would be no different--he used to have some honesty but lost it in pandering to the religious Taliban and the rest of the extreme right nut cases.
Time for some fresh blood. Obama. - Reply to this comment
- "That''s typical of many of the people around Senator Clinton," Richardson said on Fox. "They think they have a sense of entitlement to the presidency."
Carville told CNN on Monday that Richardson had committed an "egregious act" and he intended to make a sharp response to it.
"I wanted to use a very strong metaphor to make my point," Carville told CNN. "I doubt if Governor Richardson and I will be particularly close in the future."--From the Article
Once upon a time, I had respect for the Clintons, and respect for James Carville for defending the Clintons during the rough patches of the Bill Clinton presidency. I lost my respect for the Clintons long ago--during the celebration of ''Bloody Sunday'', re-living the Civil Rights march over the Edmond-Pettus Bridge from Selma to Birmingham. I lost respect for Carville now because of how he would, and has, thrown his friendship with Richardson ''under the bus'' because he chose not to support Hillary for president. The ''scorched earth'' policies of the Clinton campaign has cast Hillary, Bill, and Co. as purveyors of lies, deceit, and negative spin. Carville even said on a ''Meet The Press'' segment that campaign surrogates ought to be able to speak their mind without having to resogn for what they say. He was speaking about Geraldine Ferraro at the time. Bill Richardson has a right to say what he wants to say, and support who he wants to support. - Reply to this comment
