While On Mideast Trip, GOP Candidate Warns Of Tehran's Influence In Iraq, Mideast
- Don,,,, You''ve bought into McCain''s Photo Ops ---- You don''t need to go to Iraq to find out & neither does Obama or me ----- Obama does keep informed, on every issue... He talks to members of our military every day as he campaigns.

- I get it now.... Destroy the American economy and sell the middle and lwoer classes down the river.
Force the lower and formerly middle classes to financial desperation by purposely destroying the economy.
then offer jobs to the millions of americans desperate for food, shelter and pay in the military to fight the wars the republicans so desperately want.
The only good republican is a dead one - Reply to this comment

- The Republican candidate for U.S. President thinks Iran is training members of Al-Qaeda to fight us in Iraq. There are children who know better.

- Smirk, my point is that he went.
All the major candidates should go to find out how our troops are doing and decide for themselves with their own eyes what truth is.
The Democrats have had a rap from the 70''s that they actually hate the military much like Berkeley saying a USMC recruiting station should not be in their city.
The Democrats need to beat that rap to win this coming year since neither of their possible candidates have served. - Reply to this comment
- Don,,,, Our Troops Deserve Real Support - Not More of the Same ------ McCain will keep causing more damage to our national security & economy... He has no way out

- donbl1,
McCain physically went to Iraq last year and then came back and said Petraeus could drive around parts of Baghdad in an unarmored Humvee. This was a lie that he backpedaled on a few days later.
McCain physically went to Iraq again and came back proclaiming that Iran was training Al-Qaeda members from Iraq. Lieberman had to correct him.
So, even though McCain goes to Iraq, he comes back with an incredible amount ignorance to show for it. - Reply to this comment
- McCain, forever the media darling, gets another free ride in the press for his ''visit'' to Iraq. Never mind that he totally blew questions about who was really behind the insurgancey and showed basically no understanding of the situation in Iraq.
but then Obama is left answering this media frenzy about what someone else said. give me a *(*&(*% break.
When will the media actually criticize a GOP candidate? Not unless we push for a more independent media folks! - Reply to this comment
- J, I have always thought that you must physically see something to deserve an opinion.
Also, the troops deserve one on one support.
Interestingly, Clinton and McCain have both visited several times and have similar attitudes about "current conditions". Their votes, however, have been the same and different but when different it was not because of the current condition of the war but rather the future. much different than "all hat" Reid.
Political positions are being dictated by the primaries in their different parties.
In the end, after the Evil Clintons gets the nomination, I suspect her position will move toward the middle as far as she can get away with. - Reply to this comment
