Yea shelly''s worth her weight in gold due to the fact, hubby-Barry, just secured $1 million in earmarks for the hospital pavilion. I see a large conflict of interest here and abuse of office.

"She''s terrific," added Michael Riordan, who was president of the hospital in March 2005, when Michelle Obama was promoted to vice president for external affairs and had her annual salary increased from $121,910 to $316,962.

Hospitals spokesman John Easton told the Tribune that Michelle Obama''s salary is in line with those of the 16 other vice presidents at the not-for-profit medical center.

My Gosh! How many freekin VP''s does it take at this hospital. They could quite triple charging the underinsured if they would wack 15 VP''s and hold the department heads accountable!

HELL-ARY is trying to break the rules to fit HER!! She and her supporters started all this bull---- about "every vote should count" in Florida and Michigan. She knew what the decision was!!She did not sprout all this *** until she lagged behind in the pledged delegates! Now, she wants Florida and Michigan to re-vote. I''m sticking with Obama!! I don''t care how many times the media "plays" those tapes of his preacher. My preacher says things that I don''t agree with!! Check out WITCH HILLARY.COM!!!!!!

The great untiters need to ignore the primary states where voters showed up in droves. Obamas racially based campaign in the south has backfired creating problems that didnt exist before.

ATTENTION READERS: The McCain/Clinton hate-machine is foaming at the mouth on this comment board. They treat facts like the plague, and the plague like facts.

However, to get a good idea of who they and their candidates are, it''s recommended that, however vile, you read their deluded messages hate and ignorance.

Then, when you''ve had enough of yesterday''s politics, join the new majority. Obama 2008.

It''s to Obamas'' advantage to depress the Florida and Michigan votes. Obama needs to exclude both states in order to have a shot at winning. Some how he needs to do this and shift the blame to the DNC or Clinton.
Should be interesting to watch their divide the country game.

The only way Hillary can win the primary is by persuading undemocratic "super" delegates to reverse the decision of the voters.

However, if "super" delegates decide the contest in that manner, then at the very least, worldwide condemnation of America''''s lack of democracy will result; and again America''''s image will be tarnished.

While that''''s okay for the Clintons, the "super" delegates will not risk muddying America''''s image, and will support the will of The People.

Therefore, barring deluded fantasy, Hillary & Bill''''s campaign is over, and they''''ve become Ralph Nader.

Question: when was the last time anyone saw Ralph being greeted favorably at a DNC function?

If Hillary can loan 5 million dollars to her campaign then surely the voters have a right to know the source of her funding.
Why wont Hillary release her tax returns? People with nothing to hide don''t usually hide.
The main excuse we''ve gotten so far is that Hillary Clinton just has too much on her plate. "I''m a little busy right now," she said during the Ohio debate. "I hardly have time to sleep. But I will certainly work toward releasing, and we will get that done and in the public domain."
That was three weeks ago. Two weeks ago, Howard Wolfson promised the returns would be released "on or around April 15." But weren''t the returns completed and filed a long time ago? Doesn''t Clinton''s accountant have time to print them out and make some copies (note to Clinton''s accountant: many Kinko''s are open 24 hours).

In short, it''s well past time for Hillary Clinton to be as "vetted" as she claims to already be -- and to have this vetting done now by Democratic voters rather than later by GOP hit squads. She needs to live up to the standard she laid out for Rick Lazio, the opponent in her 2000 Senate race. At that time, she said it was "frankly disturbing" that Lazio was holding back on releasing his tax returns.
What a difference eight years -- and tens of millions of dollars (some of them from questionable deals) -- can make.

if you should be outraged it should be towards the leaders of your state party (if your from florida or michigan?)

it is their fault that they went against their own party rules and moved their primaries up contrary to those rules. (and for what---bragging rights? (duh)

blaming the dnc or it''s head is patently unfair.

both states were given ample opportunity to not take such actions and they ignored every warning not to.

so who''s to blame?

and it is too constitutional. as a matter of fact it is totally constitutional and on top of that the right thing to do.

this is a democracy and the rules were agreed upon

that is until some idiot gets the big idea to move the primary up against party laws.

find that idiot and blame him not he dnc!

Are you tired of the lies, deception and say-anything-to-win politics of yesterday?

Are you ready for change, truth and transparency?

If so, they you too are ready for Barack.

Sound Judgment on Day One - Obama 2008.

Obama would make a fine Vice President, and with experience, a good, possibly even great President. Right now, he is not ready.

This is Hillary Clinton''s time. She is ready, in command of the issues, and already leading. She is trying to accomplish the Unity Ticket, to avoid fracturing the Democratic Party. She is thinking about what is required to govern - not just win, but govern effectively afterwards.

If you truly support Obama, then support him as Vice President, first. Our country will have 16 years with Obama in the Executive Branch - 8 as VP, and 8 more as President. That''s twice as much time as he otherwise would have - a compliment to his talent, a true opportunity to accomplish long-term change.

edfranco11, I''''m from Michigan and my brother lives in Florida. We thank you for your support and for mentioning the constitution since few people seem to think about it too much anymore. MI & FL will be counted because the actions of the DNC are, in fact, unconstitutional, not to mention really, really stupid. The reality is that there are 5.5 MILLION Democrates in these 2 states that are mad as hell and if denied their vote by their own party will vote Republican. I don''''t think the DNC wants to suffer the consequences of what would be the most ignorant act in the history of the Democratic Party.

This is an interesting report...

http://www.thecarpetbaggerreport.com/archives/14899.html

Most Interesting Highlight:

Clinton supported stripping Michigan and Florida of their delegates, and supported the agreement whereby no candidate would campaign in the states. Now that she wants/needs the states to appear competitive, those previous positions, apparently, are no longer operative. Most reasonable observers find this a little hard to swallow.

******************************************************

If this is true (Hillary supported stripping the delegates) then there is the answer. There was an agreement, it should be honored. End of story.

This way no one is breaking the rules; no one can claim election fraud, favoritism or an other "-ism" that might be applicable.
