- John McCain"s 2005 denunciation of torture actually hurt him with his conservative base.
For that reason I don"t believe it was a politically motivated statement. It was honest and heartfelt.
His recent slight flipflop, shortly before his tail-wagging acceptance of Bush"s worthless endorsement.... That I"m afraid is another matter entirely. - Reply to this comment
