Hillary''s health care plan will cover everyone and will push down the cost of insurance. The insurance companies sure do not like this. Obamas plan will force families to insure thier children even if they cannot afford insurance themselves. It does not cover adults but will give a small tax credit to help them buy insurance. The insurance companies love this plan because it does not bring the price down. I wonder if the insurance companies are voting for Obama??

Dems, do you want the Democratic Party to AGAIN "snatch defeat from the jaws of victory" come November?

The Clintons caused the 2000 defeat of their own Party, and the ENABLING OF THE 8-year BUSH-WHACKING OF AMERICA, by destroying their own White House legacy and denying Al Gore!

Once AGAIN, the Clintons are trying to DESTROY THE CHANCES OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY by prolonging the INEVITABLE!

So, Dems, put your attention on the final stake been driven into the heart of the witch on Super Tuesday redux. lol

We should not want 4 more years of McBush just to satisfy the PERSONAL AMBITIONS of the self-centered and self-absorbed Clintons!

All you women who supports Hillary. Why don''t you read the report online MSMBC. See how much she cares!!!!!!!!!!

From MSMBC Online, front page:

Sen. Hillary Clinton has declined to return $170,000 in campaign contributions from individuals at a company accused of widespread sexual harassment, and whose CEO is a disbarred lawyer with a criminal record, federal campaign records show.

Where are her morals?????

AJ,

The Obama proposals you mentioned add up to 251 billion annually. We''re spending over $300 billion annually in Iraq.

Most of the proposals(healthcare, education, alternative energy, workforce training, etc.) will create jobs which will generate an offsetting stream of new government revenue.

He suports reinstituting the PAYGO rules so that his proposals will have to be self financing.

I haven''t seen anything on the Clinton or McCain sites explaining how they intend to pay for their proposals other than Hillary''s estimated health savings.

ONE TO KNOW:
Watergate, travelgate, etc. -the list goes on for Hillary. Obama''s exprience as a lawyer includes him fighting for people''s civil rights. Hillary''s experience as a lawyer included her aggressively defending a middle-aged man who raped a 12 year old girl (this is fact). Hillary will say/do anything to get ahead.

Hello my name is America,
And I am dying?
Who will help me?
I am about 230 years old.
I had been born out of the prayer in men%u2019s hearts who understood what true liberty is.
My name is America and God knows about me, but people do not care about God they have kicked Him out of politics and schools someday they may show Him the door out of the country!
People do not care about me America. There is no more love of being an American!
People are murdering every day in regard to aborted babies and again they do not care of what true liberty is for all!
Hello I am America who will save me! People raise flags in remembrance of me, but who will raise their heart in the principles by which we stand?
Hello I am America and I am crying for the injustice being done in my name. Where O where are the citizens that will fix me? Where are the Americans who will fight for me? What will happen to me? My name is America who will love me?

I think I''ve had enough, my brain is full and I need to find room for more information.

Economic and tax policies are like anything else, they need to be debated and agonized over to come up with what is thought to the best answers to the problems we face.

I''m glad it''s an election year because we need to shed light on these things and do something about them. Hopefully the right people will do what bests to help.

With that tucker, I gotta go. As always, it''s been fun and interesting.

Live Long and Prosper.

I''''d much rather spend $2 trillion in the US rather than shoveling it to Israel, Iraq, China, etc. Apparently, the GOP does not have the same priorities.

Agreed, if I had my way, and I know it''s not practical, we would be an Isolationist country.

In America today we have this knight in shinny armor coming towards us promising us deliverance! He never fought a battle, He was present when the other knights fought the battles, and keeps His armor very shinny. When He is with the other knights He speaks as one who fought battles, remember now He never did He was only present, that He can conquer lions and dragons and bring this land America to tranquility. The other knights ask Him of His experience and He just points to the fact that He has shinny armor. These other knights see His shinny armor and wonder why this so called knight calls Himself a knight. This knight in shinny armor states %u201CI can bring CHANGE%u201D. The people without experience in fighting the real battles on issues are transfix on His shinny armor that they do not bother with the issue that He has no experience. The people see this knight as their hope. They point to the other knight who is in charge for now and say this is the reason why we need a knight with shinny armor (with no experience) the knight who is there now had no experience either and we want another one like Him!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish that the folks who are ''cutting & pasting" information about all the legislation that Sen. Obama has "worked" on in the past that ''benfit" our citizens-I wish they would take a minute or two to read the details of the legislation, who sponsored/cosponsored it, when was bill introduced...when did it pass (look at the timing).
who was strong supporter of bill, any opposition to it-if so, how much-how controversial?DID BILL BENEFIT PEOPLE OR WAS IT A ''TOOTHLESS TIGER PEICE OF LEGISLATION TO MAKE THE SPONSORS LOOK GOOD. The devil is in the details...There now, tell me why you think that I am NOT IMPRESSED BY OBAMA''s resume of legislative work... I WISH PEOPLE WOULD ASK QUESTIONS-WE HAVE BEEN SO DUMBED DOWN IN THIS COUNTRY!OBAMA IS MANUFACTURED CANDIDATE.

You cannot stimulate your own economy by sending all your money and jobs to other nations. Cannot happen.

Posted by tuckerndfw at 12:48 PM : Mar 01, 2008

My understanding of this is that we are sending jobs that require little skills to third world countries so they can become first world countries, they have to start somewhere, and we will invent new high tech, high skilled jobs here and with the increased wealth the new first world countries have, they will buy more from us; or at least that is how it is suppose to work.

I am also in favor of a flat tax; cut out the loopholes.

Giving the wealthy tax breaks does not stimulate the economy and is the stupidest idea that the GOP ever came up with. But, Dems in Congress did it in the 1980''''s, so it is not exclusive to Repubs.

Posted by tuckerndfw at 12:17 PM : Mar 01, 2008

If tax cuts don''t stimulate the economy, I don''t see how raising taxes will either.

But I do agree with you, taxes will probably go up.

tuckerndfw - or how rescinding a tax cut is instantly said as being a "tax increase". It isn''t. It''s pulling back a rollback that didn''t work in the first place.

The bottom line is Barack Obama has the ability to motivate people to become involved in the poltical process and that is the most valuable asset anyone can bring to the presidency.

Posted by tuckerndfw at 11:55 AM : Mar 01, 2008

Yes, there is a stark difference between him and Hillary, not so much in policies, but in inspiring people.

I am worried about his tax policies. I know he said he will raise taxes on the rich, but if he lets Bush''s tax cuts lapse, everyones taxes will go up.

See chart:
