During the first eight months of his Illinois Senate he sponsored over 820 bills. His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These included the following:

**the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 (became law),
**The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act, (became law),
**The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate,
**The 2007 Government Ethics Bill, (became law),
**The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, (In committee), and many more.

In all since he entered elective office, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096. An impressive record, for someone who supposedly has no legislative record.

Liberal = Family Leave Act
Liberal = Americans with Disabilities Act

-In order to obtain reciprocal trust you need to have a initial trusting mind. Walking-Liar Bush went to Putin with a bad intention in his mind. Putin shook hands with the Walking-Liar who mistrusted Putin by installing in Poland and the Sczhec Republic a ''defensive'' missiles group pointed toward Russia. Are we still wondering why Putin is doing every possible thing to counter our presence in Eastern Europe? McCain wants to go on with the untrustworthy Walking-Liar''s policies.

His record in working with Republicans in the Illinois Senate is about as impressive as Pres.Bush''s record in Texas bringing Republicans and Democrats together in the Texas legislature. Just because you have success doing that in state legislature is no guarantee that you can do it in DC. GWB proved that. Just as Bush looked into Putin''s eyes and said he could be trusted, Obama did a similar thing in Cook County when he told voters he had talked to hand picked machine candidate for Cook County board Todd Stroger and that he was OK. Stroger wants a 2% sales tax increase and has hired friends and relatives. With Chicago''s recent tax increase, taxes will be sky high in his hometown, thanks to his supporter Mayor Daley. When first asked about his business dealings with indicted influence peddler Tony Rezko concerning his wife selling the Obama''s some property, Obama said he didn''t real know Rezko though he had known him for 17 years!

Obama will be labeled as the most liberal eastern educated Senator in the country, while the internet and talk radio smear him as a non-saluting, madrassa educated, sworn in on a Koran Muslim. Those who want to believe lies will, and for others the more you repeat a lie, the easier it is for some to believe it.

He seems just another purveyor of garden-variety political rhetoric and promises he can''t possibly deliver on. He''s not really so different from his current opponent.

In America today we have this knight in shinny armor coming towards us promising us deliverance! He never fought a battle, He was present when the other knights fought the battles, and keeps His armor very shinny. When He is with the other knights He speaks as one who fought battles, remember now He never did He was only present, that He can conquer lions and dragons and bring this land America to tranquility. The other knights ask Him of His experience and He just points to the fact that He has shinny armor. First and foremost I would like to know who put the wool over America''s eyes? Many ignorant people are not listening, and researching. They see a man of color making an attemt at running for president,& run to vote for him. There is nothing wrong with wanting to see a person of color in office, but he has to meet the requirements, he has to have EXPERIENCE! Obama is filling every ones ears with speaches of hope and change, it is the best strategy he could have come up with since we are all tired of what America has become,(thank you BUSH), but hope will NOT change the economy, bring our troops back,or put America back on it''s feet! AFFIRMATIVE action is what will dring about change. As nice as it sounds hope is not what we need to bring about the change that we are looking for. I believe that Hillary has a significant amount of experience, & has the examples of Bill, (which helped make the economy stronger, and bought about the kind of changes that we needed), she can definitely do what Obama is preaching to us. While Hillary was playing the role of the under dog,taking on major issues, Obama was busy laying low, dealing with minor issues. Obama is for letting a child from a partial abortion die, now if he voted yes on that can you immagine what he would do to us? If you can stand to destroy an innocent life, then you can destroy an entire nation, not that Bush did not have a head start. I just "hope" that America opens up their eyes.

I am discouraged by the ignorant, insulting, vulgar remarks made by people commenting on this site. They are so fortunate to have a place where they may present their views, pro or con.
That many ignorant people feel that using vulgar
language enforces their viewpoint is sad, and scary.

This article makes a very valid point. This election is crucial in American History. Why ? This country is on the brink of another DEPRESSION. Being able to lead this country back to prosperity is a quality the next president MUST have! While Mr. Obama''s speeches are impressive, we need a president that will take on whatever issues necessary to get this country back on track. A "cafeteria" politician who picks and chooses what issues to face would not be beneficial to this country. Bill Clinton demonstrated this ability during his presidency. I believe Hillary Clinton can do the same.
