N.Y. Senator Accuses Front-Runner Of Plagiarism, Says He Represents "Change You Can Xerox"
- Here is the man who as President will take the U.S. Constitution seriously, and put an end to the sick and sinister influence of D*ick Cheney:
"And as a state senator in Illinois, Obama championed a bill requiring the police to videotape prisoner interrogations. Although initially controversial, the measure passed the Senate unanimously; even Republicans conceded that the turnaround was largely Obama"s doing." - Reply to this comment

There"s a third possibility - I was kidding.
For as Aristotle said, "Humor is the only test of gravity, and gravity of humor; for a subject which will not bear raillery is suspicious, and a jest which will not bear serious examination is false wit."
And he wasn"t joking either. - Reply to this comment

Certainly for a man who is claiming that he and he alone is the candidate who can unite the country and move us all into a glorious new direction of unity and agreement... it can''t be good to be a member of a church which is "unashamedly" homogenous to any degree. The fact that his church chose to put "black" ahead of "Christian" in the mission statement tells us how important race is for this church. The fact that they chose to award Farrakhan tells me that the color of his skin was more important than his religion.
Again, it probably has little or nothing to do with the issues that face the country... but Obama is not running on the issues. Instead he is running on the idea that he can bring about change that can take us all above our divisions and silos and allow us to work together to bring change. I think most people would like to see a bit of this ability in his background before trusting that he can lead 300 million people of all ethnic, cultural, and social backgrounds. I don''t think it helps is cause that his church is not one that reaches out against division, but rather fosters a silo by being unashamedly homogoneous. - Reply to this comment
- Lets just face the facts: No matter what President Obama does or says, however educated and intelligent and articulate he is, no matter how enthusiastic has VAST BASE of supporters become,No matter how hard he has worked for this country (long time or short time) , no matter how ugly or beautiful and educated and articulate his wife is, no matter how efficiently he has managed his campaign, staff and finances, no matter what he says or does , no matter that his idea to re-involve Americans into the democratic process, There are people who find all manner of fault, put words in his mouth, nit pic little ***, say that they want a clean campaigner, then get mad because he did not bring up any dirt on Hillary during the debate??? , like hil likes to say, Lets get real, The real fact of the matter is President OBAMA is black and no matter how much they would like to deny it, they just can stand to vote for a BLACK man.

- From Factcheck.org:
"[In the latest debate] Hillary Clinton wrongly implied that Obama had little or no accomplishments to his credit. Obama recited a list of achievements at both the state and federal level, which we found to be accurate.
A Washington Post editorial credited Obama for helping to create "the strongest ethics legislation to emerge from Congress yet," and the Coburn-Obama Act created a new Web site, USAspending.gov, which allows anyone to see where federal contracting and grant money is being spent. Moreover, it was an Obama-sponsored amendment that ended Walter Reed"s practice of requiring outpatient military personnel to pay for their own meals. And as a state senator in Illinois, Obama championed a bill requiring the police to videotape prisoner interrogations. Although initially controversial, the measure passed the Senate unanimously; even Republicans conceded that the turnaround was largely Obama"s doing. Finally, while Obama didn"t mention this one, we think it"s worth noting that the Lugar-Obama non-proliferation initiative provided funds for destroying nuclear weapons and for intercepting weapons of mass destruction.
In short, Clinton is wrong to suggest that Obama lacks a substantive legislative record."

- First Lady Hillary Clinton opened the universal health care door while withstanding withering attacks from the right, left & the media. Her Armed Services Committee work & fact-finding visits overseas belie the notion that she has limited foreign policy experience. She has taken the lead on the most important economic crisis to face our country in decades & was among the first to propose a bold economic recovery program designed to rescue the nation from recession. Clinton advocated for $70 billion in emergency spending & a backup of a $40 billion tax rebate should economic conditions worsen. Hers is a direct attempt to help the most threatened people in America - namely, lower-income families in need of home heating aid, & people who require extended jobless benefits. Her recommendations on the subprime mortgage mess are far-reaching. She has called for a moratorium on foreclosures, a freezing of interest rates, the use of federal subsidies to help homeowners keep up with payments & restructure loans, & augmented regulation of the financial industry.
She has put up with ribald jokes, attacks on her credibility, & a boiler room approach to the issues that this country faces. Her desire to be president is no more self serving or power grabbing than other nominees. Senator Clinton has put forth real solutions to the country''s problems, knows the nuances of her solutions & she gives details.
She has to be twice as good as all the other candidates & she is. - Reply to this comment

- CBS_Oliver,
The security was take down because the crowd was being delayed getting into the building. If Obama had started on time with security in place, the arena would not have been filled and his "IMAGE" would have been shattered. - Reply to this comment
- NEW YORK The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported late Thursday that security details at Barack Obama''s rally in Dallas (of all places) on Wednesday "stopped screening people for weapons at the front gates more than an hour before the Democratic presidential candidate took the stage at Reunion Arena.
"The order to put down the metal detectors and stop checking purses and laptop bags came as a surprise to several Dallas police officers who said they believed it was a lapse in security," reported the paper''s Jack Douglas, Jr. More than 10 days remain until the Texas primary and a key vote for president. - Reply to this comment
- Barack Obama isn''t just your average liberal. He is a hardcore left-winger. A new era is dawning in American politics, I hope America is ready for high taxes, a nanny state and high spending on welfare.
If you admire British socialism or French style government intervention vote for Mr. Obama. If you don''t, then think twice about supporting this undeniably charismatic but ultimately left-wing politician. - Reply to this comment

Badbraincell is a TOTAL MORON !...His RUSH doll tells him which pill to take each morning. He then tunes in to Faux Noise to get his single brain cell programmed for the day. " Singlecellshrubitis " affects countless millions of former average Americans.
The symptoms include but are not limited to,constant babbling about former President William J. Clinton and his administration.Emulating W by mis-pronouncing common words, admitting that they have a difficult time understanding the U. S. constitution.
Furthermore, they make excuses for their leaders constant blunders. They fail to understand common knowledge, such as the consumer price index and they fail to acknowledge the corruption that has taken deep roots at every level of the present administration.
Blinded by loyalty to their king, they must be monitored as these disease-ridden specimens try to carry out assignments to detract from the cold ,hard facts.
These people should never be allowed to breed while carrying this virus. This nation cannot let this dreadful disease carry on. It must be eradicated in the coming election. Do your part !

This disease can and must be stopped.
