Hi All,

Gee, I just checked Obama''s Senate site. He has never been to Iraq or to Afghanistan. In fact his only foreign travel was with a Senate delegation to Moscow. Why wouldn''t someone in the Foreign Relations Committee with such a strong interest in Iraq not travel there?

In contrast, Hillary Clinton in her own words posted on her Senate site, "I traveled to Iraq in January 2007 to assess the situation there firsthand. This was my third visit to the country, where I expressed my gratitude to our troops on the ground and met with Iraqi leaders and U.S. commanders. I came back from the trip determined to stop the President%u2019s escalation, and to start the long overdue redeployment of troops out of Iraq. In February 2007, I introduced the Iraq Troop Protection and Reduction Act to halt the President%u2019s escalation policy and to provide an alternative strategy to stabilize the country %u2013 a strategy that would enable the President to end the war before he leaves office. "

Hillary will be a strong Commander-in-Chief ready from day one to talk with the joint chiefs of staff and the field commanders to bring our troops home safely.

Move over Martin Luther King! Obama is here to replace your dream! Maybe if you were alive you could look up to Him as your mentor! In any case you would carry Obamas luggage for His dreams not your dream!

"Words you Xeros"
%u201CYou know, whatever happens, we''re going to be fine. You know, we have strong support from our families and our friends. I just hope that we''ll be able to say the same thing about the American people. And that''s what this election should be about.%u201D

Reality check.
All the candidates make promises that they may sincerely want to keep but which, when the reality of taking office happens, may not be as easy to implement as first promised, but that does not diminish the hope for favorable changes. Like any other president in history, one of the very first things they do is surround themselves with capable, select advisers and cabinet members (except Bush of course) who most match their beliefs and hopes for the future and then determine how they should go about accomplishing those goals.
Certainly, it would be naive to think that a president walks into the White House, waves a magic wand, and thus makes all his wishes come true.
It will be the same for whomever becomes president, Democrat or Republican.

I am a 72 year old white male, veteran, who has seen everything, and I will be voting for Obama.

"CNN is running the death of a motorcycle officer as "Clintons bad day".

It was the officer"s family"s tragedy, not "Hillary"s bad day."

So, has Sean Hannity accused Hillary of murdering him yet ?

The whole thrust of this article runs totally counter to one Obama supporter''s reaction I talked to today. He hasn''t changed his mind but he felt Obama came off second best and Hillary had a fabulous debate.
I really resent the media speaking for us as if they know what we are thinking and feeling. This kind of article belongs under opinion and should not be presented as fact.
CBS, you know there are a lot of Hillary voters out there and when you print this kind of garbage it certainly confirms our belief that you are unprofessional and totally biased without any ethical constraints at all!!!!!

RE: Post by hoygie7 at 08:02 PM : Feb 22, 2008

Police interrogations of prisoners.

In Chicago some (not most) police were torturing confessions out of innocent men and sending them to prison, some even to Death Row.

Barack Obama"s legislation helped put a stop to that.

If Hillary is only twice as good as Mike Huckabee, she isn"t qualified to be President.
