Obama''s First Book, "Dreams From My Father" (1995), before entering politics, that he had used marijuana and cocaine ("maybe a little blow"). He said he had not tried heroin because he did not like the pusher who was trying to sell it to him.

Have we forgotten that Obama was a Coke sniffer? Cocain which just by the mear posession of it is a Felony. With him inhaling the Coke up his nostrils he possessed this drug therefore making him a drug felon the way I see it.

Who really gives a rip when McCain has *** or NOT! Most likely NOT at his age! Especially that with that woman that looks like someone out of a Gestapo movie!

I once thought he was a man would stand on his principles and thumb his nose at people like Rushlimpdrug, and BimboCoulter! But looks like he''ll compromise himself to get elected! Too bad, so sad...

Hillary ''08!

McCain has enough friends in the media that he doesn''t need conservatives to rally around him. And he%u2019s shown on numerous occasions (amnesty, campaign finance etc.) that he doesn''t care what conservatives think except when he wants their votes. I''m voting for Huckabee now, and making no promises about the general election.

The NYT shouldn''t have hired William Kristol...neocons like that just naturally corrupt your integrity.

So, what you McCain supporters are saying is that the New York Times must have taken Senator McCain''s *** and stuck it into that lobbyist themselves. That liberal media will stop at nothing!

NYT should have published this during the 2002 campaign. Fortunately, the NYT is fading away & this is an example of why.

Actually I do care if McCain had an Affair eight years ago. It sheds light on his character. I do not beleive there is any truth to this. I think he learned a valuable lesson from the breakup of his first marriage. From the interview I saw it looked as if that still caused him pain and dishonor. In my mind a man haunted by his mistakes will never repeat them.

As a High School reporter for my high School''s Newspaper I was taught always have the facts and don''t use anymous references unless they chose not to be identified for safety reasons...The New York Times should be ashamed of themselves for printing an article about something that most Americans could careless...a possible assumption about an affair from 8 years ago...do I care about that? no...even the Democrats wouldn''t go that far just to take down anybody!

There is someone bigger than Obama and Hillary? For information to be released on John Mcain and not Obama, on both of their affairs, it goes to prove there is a whole slanting being guided. I hope I am allowed to post this!

New York Times may as well be The Inquirer...in fact there''s probably more validation in The Inquirer. Where are they getting journalists these days?

It''s not about the BJ it''s about perjury....oh wait....wrong topic...It''s not about his extra martial affair, it''s about a presidential candidate and lobbyist influence.

Your right, but I don''t think they had favors in mind. Selling papers now? Probably.

You would think that the times would have learned not to be duped from the Judith Miller saga.

Should have printed only what can be backed up and not from administration sources. The S E X is what is selling this story although in all likelihood, it is the favoritism that is the fact.
