Obama Wave Crashes Through

Thank God water-boarding is still legal or the Clintons would still be the front runner

Thanks Barak

hopetrumps - the posting below is a case in point

Well, it''''s NOT 1928, and I dare the Repugnants to try and run against Obama on a his-mother-was-an-atheist ticket(or so you understand.)You NeoCons in sheep clothing (an appropriate disguise for Bush apologists) are trying so hard to make us think you are concerned Democrats. It''''s not working.

This kind of thing is all anger, venom and bile. This isn''t a reasoned discussion - this is an irrational person making irrational statements that they feel is somehow enlightening when all it really is is a regurgitation of talking points for 2005 through 2006.

Bush is gone, Neocons are gone - thats history. But this kind of mindlessness is focused on beating the other guy - not what the right direction is.

hopetrumps - So its more important that Democrats win than in electing the right person? Or is any Democrat the right person?

I hear this "electibility" discussion all the time and find it amazing.

When did the Presidency become a sporting event where it''s more important to win than be right? Are we all Al Davis now - just win baby? As long as it''s not a Republican it''s good? It''s not who has the best plan or experience or vision or character - its only about who can beat the other team??

That is terrifyingly short sighted don''t you think?

$275,000,000 per DAY to occupy Iraq.
In Iraq for 100 years?
"FINE with me". says John McCain.
** ** ** ** ** **
Barrack Obama will immediately begin to remove our troops from Iraq. He will remove one to two combat brigades each month, and have all of our combat brigades out of Iraq within 16 months.

If Barack get the majority of the ''Voted Delegates'' and Hillary get the nomination because of the ''Super Delegates'' then I become a dis-infranchised voter. Will Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton come to my aid?

)YOU WANT HIM AMERICA - YOU GONNA GET HIM. I WONDER WHO WILL BE O''S BRAIN SHARPTON, JACKSON, OR MAYBE FARAKHAN

WE WILL HAVE TO ENDURE THE ABOVE THREE PREACHING TO US ON THE STATE OF THE UNION EVERY SINGLE YEAR - OH WELL.
Seating delegates from Florida and Michigan at the Democratic National Convention would be a grave injustice, the Rev. Al Sharpton said Wednesday in a break with prominent civil rights leaders.

"I firmly believe that changing the rules now, and seating delegates from Florida and Michigan at this point would not only violate the Democratic Party''s rules of fairness, but also would be a grave injustice," Sharpton said in a letter to Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean.

"As former presidential candidates we both know that, whether we liked them or not, we adhered to the rules set forth by the Democratic Party to select its nominee for president."

Sharpton, a black activist and radio talk show host, sought the presidency in 2004.

It never fails to amaze me how gullible the average Americanis. Obama might be a very good candidate, but there are still so many unanswered questions about his experience and decision making. By letting Oprah make your decision for you without really making him answer the tough questions about his drug use and present two pack a day addiction shows that we, as a nation, are more interested in electing a rock star than an experienced, strong, decisive personality. I hope it works, but your thoughtless "sheeple" attitude may cost us 4 years of a senile war monger running the show.

glossypan - so tell me how Obama and McCain differ in that regard? Obama won''t pull the troops and he is promising spending on an unprecidented scale (election promises - not worth a plug nickle)

He won''t enforce borders and has no experience in foriegn policy.

Frankly - the only differences I see are age and race.

In America each individual gets to choose what religion they wish to belong to - or none at all. It is neither legal or proper for any faith to demand adherience to their unique dogma outside of the church or mosque.

Barack Obama is entitled to be a Christian, or a Jew, or a Roman Catholic or a Muslim as he wishes.

We have freedom of religion and a separation of church as state for EXACTLY that reason - the state can not force a faith on anybody - or demand adherence to a faith. That is FREEDOM - what we all hold precious.

Total votes in yesterdays primaries:
Barrack Obama - 1,165,728
John McCain - 408,638
*** *** *** *** ***
I guess a Four More Years - Open Borders - Borrow and Spend - Eternal War candidate is just not very inspiring.

Wave? More like a ripple. Well, maybe a little stronger. Let''s just call it the sound of America being flushed down the toilet by Liberals.

The lines between Hillary and Barack are clear. Hillary still owns the big D party machine - where the locals will vote as they are told and vote for the old line Democrates - she will still win (Ohio where the unions will tell their rank and file how to vote - and they will do as they are told.)

Obama is pulling in those thinking for themselves - or at least feeling for themselves - since he hasn''t given anybody much to think about. But he certainly isn''t the old boy white guard (which despite the gender issue - Hillary certainly is) so that might itself be refreshing.

As it gets tighter watch for Hillary to loose it - too many tears or just blow her stack. This is her one shot - if she doesn''t win she can''t try again. NY will re-elect her but she will be the Ted Kennedy of presidential elections the weaker part of a once strong political family.

BTW - has Bill proven the Republicans right - he always was small, petty and trailer trash in Italian loafers?

How-To Guide For a Clinton Comeback?

1.Steel the primary election thru secret delegates
2.Wear a yellow pant-suit
3.Cry on TV
4.Blame the whole thing on Bush and Bill

She will shoot up in the polls like crazy.

as a former muslim woman and proud american citzen who is familier with islam law im going to prove that obama is very dishonest man and here is why Obama is a Christian now. But he was born a Muslim because his father was a Muslim. His step father was also a Muslim. According to Muslim religion, the religion of the father determines the religion of the offspring. Therefore, Obama was once a Muslim. He has denied that he is ever a Muslim, but that just shows that he doesn''''t have the backbone or the honesty to recognize his heritage. When he came back to the U.S to live with his maternal grandparents, that''''s when he was raised as a Christian. To hear him say that he''''s never been a Muslim his entire life is truly a lie since he spent his first 9 to 10 years in Indonesia, a Muslim country, living with a Muslim step father. and dont forget there is a law in islam called TAGIYEH which means u can lie about ur religion in order to do good for allah later now the question is waht good obama has plan to do for allah!

the U.S. Chamber of Commerce gives Obama the lowest rating of any of the three major contenders for the Presidency, behind Senator Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) and Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.).

Want business out of the business of running government, vote Obama

"Erosion" is the key word. One is waining, one is thriving. One is shrinking, one is expanding, one is more optimistic, one is desperate. One will be our leader. You go Barack Obama !

My concern now is the course the "Super Delegates" will take. Any underhanded handling of these votes will bring about a strong rebutttal from the public. They had best honor our votes and give their "Super Electoral" votes to the popular vote/mandate of the people. Our voices, our votes, had better be taken seriously or I see a rise in revolt against the electoral system, the Democratic Party, and the politicians that used their votes unfairly.
Should Obama NOT receive the Super Delegates vote if he wins by plurality, I will vote for the Green Party candidate and protest loudly against that obvious lack of honesty of the electoral process.
