Obama Takes Delegate Lead With Wins In 4 States; Clinton Manager Steps Down
- You would think that we would know by now not to believe a word she says. I won''''t believe the $10 million fundraising claims until I see it in her fundraising reports and she releases her tax returns(during the General Election).

that''s ridiculous..I don''t believe you buy hook line and sinker every media report, and twisted quotes out of context.
I''m one of the many who donated when I found out her campaign needed money...Go to her website, look at the blog..hundreds of people have helped out, 100 bucks, 10 bucks, 600 bucks...
But of course, you have republicans like NEWT GINGRICH pushing for Obama..Peggy Noonan..because they know they can win; why do you people think they''re being positive? Because they want him to win the presidency? AHAHAHAAHAH
The same media who gave bush a pass on all his policies for 7 years, the same media all the dems ******* about for 7 years, and now they''re not suspicious they''re giving Obama a pass?
Hillary will win...it was a consensus 2 weeks ago she Obama would do well this past Saturday, and tomorrow...
Anyone counting Hillary Clinton out is buying media convention. You''re gonna be disappointed for placing someone you don''t know well on a pedastal. - Reply to this comment
- Obama is surely a great man but he doesn''t have the worldly experience to be president now. Maybe in 4-8 years but not now. We should all support Hillary because like Obama, she wants positive change for the "regular folk" but also has the experience to implement that change immediately. It may take a while for Obama to make the changes he states in his speeches. Experience candidate who will change America-that''s Hillary! Think about it. We need someone with EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- what this article fails to mention is whether this delegate count includes / excludes Florida and Michigan. This is very important because it gives Clinton a big lead if she can get those delegates seated. If it comes down to FL and MI those states should have a special primary that was fair.

- The reason Obama is winning is because no one can pin this guy down.
The man is smart and very good thinking on his feet and that''s why he gives people confidence.
If Americans, and many of them of the MTV generation, commit themselves to Obama they''ll also know that''s just half of the job. The other half is to fill the Congress and the Senate with people who will help Obama along.
I predict a full house sweep for Obama and Democrats in November. - Reply to this comment
- spinster,
The reason some of us thought Hillary should''ve won Maine is because on Saturday Hillary was saying she expected to do well in Maine.

- A American woman is arrested in Saudia Arabia for sitting next to a male, a British schoolteacher is arrested and sentence to jail in Somalia for allowing the students to name a teddy bear Muhammad, a Saudia woman is sentenced to 200 lashes for being in the company of a male and for being raped, in the US and abroad we arrest, detain indefinitely, torture and eavesdrop on "suspected enemy combatants" a clear violation of the rulings of Hopt vs Utah, Bram vs US and Blackburn vs Alabama and we wish to teach democracy?
Where is Obama on this he is graduate of law school? Why has he continued to vote for eavesdropping and funding the war in Iraq? - Reply to this comment
- The conventional wisdom is that she has the advantage in Ohio because of the large number of blue coollar dems and the Governor''s political machine.
There certainly is a lrge base of blue collar Dems in Ohio. The reason Kerry lost Ohio was because he lost the rural communities. That''s where Obama has proven to be strongest.
The Governor''s early support for Hillaery hasn''t been followed up by many other Democratic endorsements and with him only being in office for a year it''s questionable how reliable of a machine he has. His support will certainly help her in eastern and southern Ohio where his former Congressional district
is located but i don''t know how much it will mean in northern and central Ohio.
I haven''t heard either candidate propose any means for rebuilding the manufacturing base of the great lakes region and that would be crucial to the success of either in Buckeyeland. - Reply to this comment

- This is just way too good. Hillary and Obama hacking at each other - blowing obscene amounts of cash - loading up the GOP databases with dirt to use on them after they finally come up with a nominee in August.
Don''t worry HRC will be the nom after the untimely demise of some of the super delegates that were going to push to Obama. They will be replaced by HRC followers.
Again, this is way too good. - Reply to this comment
- Clinton must now adopt the "wait and see" approach for Ohio and Texas that worked so poorly for Guiliani with Florida.
In the meantime, the Obama momentum will build and will be hard to stop.
Obama is becoming even more self-assured and Presidential in his rallies. One cannot help but become hopeful and enthused.

Seeing as how there is no third party candidate, and that the Republicans are quite OK maintaining the status quo, the Democrats at least talk of change. (even if they are only minor, a little is still better than none)
It seems to me that America has already pigeonholed Mrs. Clinton as "establishment" and Mr. Obama as "left", so the fact that Mr. Obama is at this point tied with Mrs. Clinton, and has the momentum, suggests pretty strongly that we want to move farther away from the status quo than Mrs. Clinton offers, and we hope the Democrats understand the message.
Liberalism is back in style, the political "center" is no longer to the right of Nixon, and it is about time. - Reply to this comment

No need for any apology, consider yourself part of the vast overwhelming majority. As for the moon, that was NASA, not Washington, and as for the last point, the problem is that you cannot get near the WH as anything other than a tourist, if you are not well versed in the art of corruption. - Reply to this comment

Nope, I grew up in 60s and 70s Detroit, we learned early that there was no such thing as Santa Claus, and we also learned that presidents don''t always have the good of the people at heart, especially the 8 most recent ones.
We also learned that judging books by their covers is the habit of fools, and that bad people can have good habits, as well as good people can have bad habits. - Reply to this comment
- Its fascinating to listen to the news from most sources and hear that Sen. Obama has the edge because of the African Amerian vote. Then, you see the measure of his victories in places like Nebraska, Washington (State) and Main, not to mention Iowa, where there is a noticable absence of black voters and you wonder why there is no mention AT ALL of the overwhelming victories in these states. Is the media trying to make the Senator the black candidate? Perhaps I''m just missing something.

4,000 of our children dead in an illegal war, our economy in critical condition, health care unaffordable for most, poison in our food, water, and air, and all you''''re worried about is whether Mr. Obama smokes?
Hello, knock knock, the lights are on, but is anyone home in there?

That is one thing that he COULD actually change. No, wait a minute, he''s going to change health care isn''t he. Ha Ha All either one of them is trying to do is feed more money from other areas into the system without actually changing anything and our food will still be full of contaminants when obama is dead and gone.
It doesn''t hurt to show a little personal responsibility in regard to change. If you don''t have the strengh to change yourself, I''m certainly not gullable enough to think your going to change the world.
