There''s one way to make Obama assasination proof. Cheney as Vice President. Think about it. That''s how Bush has lived this long.

Is this any reason not to run? Ridiculous reasoning. A man without a vision is not worthy of being President nor a threat to anyone.

Get a clue. Caps on, no one reads it. After you are ''reported'' as a spammer, we move on...
You are wasting everyone''s time, and getting booted off the board.

Something to ponder...
JFK was killed by very powerful interests. NOT FROM A UNSIGHTED RIFFLE IN SOME BOOK DEPOSITORY. Any moron can figure it out, the assassination was a professional, tiangular hit, PERIOD (three professional hitman or more). Why was the "truth" locked in the archives for several generations? Something to hide...Duh! Many say that JFK was killed because he was willing to withdraw from Vietnam (take away money from the giant war profiteers), sound familiar? These same interests and their children are in power now, making money from a very unpopular war (sound familiar)? Here lies the same basic foundation as in 1963. I also fear for the life of Obama or Clinton should they be elected president. I also fear for the "bigger picture" for the violence that would
follow an assassination of Obama (remember the violence regarding Rodney King, the "thugs" that found that event to be an excuse for burning down parts of Los Angeles? Always think about what motivates powerful people in powerful positions? Always question your government if you want to remain free! The Republicons are war mongers, PERIOD. They rarely have fear of assassination. They carry out the directions and are put in place by the powerful war profiteers...enough said. Vote Democratic! Get rid of the war mongers in all branches of Federal Government. Let''s give Congress a Democratic VOTING MAJORITY as well as the White House.
Thank you.

Doris Lessing is overreacting to the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.

Look at all the highly unpopular people in America today.

OJ Simpson is one --- if anybody was going to be assassinated, it would have been him.

Barack Obama would have state-of-the-art protection as President of the United States.

He is the right man for the job. He shouldn"t let the paranoid fears of a dotty 88-year-old British author dissuade him.

What a crock. What, assassins have a code of ethics against killing a woman? Please. Just more media drivel to take the motion out of Obama''s sails just as he''s gaining. If this doesn''t make it clear where the media stands on Clinton being president, I don''t know what would make it any clearer. So nice of them to ''have his back'' this way and give him an opportunity to ''rethink'' what he''s invested time and money in for the last year. I suppose he''d been in a better position to live if he let Hillary be president (Clinton machine at work here...) and he assumed vice president...to give everyone 4 years to get used to the idea of a black man in the Oval Office...what a crock.

Lets get ir right, Iceman.

"Doris Lessing was born to Captain Alfred Tayler and Emily Maude Tayler (nee McVeagh), who were both English and of British nationality. Her father, who had lost a leg during his service in World War I, met his future wife, a nurse, at the Royal Free Hospital where he was recovering from his amputation.

Alfred Tayler moved his family to Kermanshah, in Persia (now Iran), in order to take up a job as a clerk for the Imperial Bank of Persia and it was here that Doris was born in 1919. The family then moved to the British colony of Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in 1925 to farm maize, when Lessing''s father purchased around one thousand acres of bush. Lessing''s mother attempted to lead an Edwardian life style amongst the rough environment, which would have been easy had the family been wealthy; it was not. The farm was not successful and failed to deliver the wealth Lessing''s parents had expected.

Lessing was educated at the Dominican Convent High School, a Roman Catholic convent all-girls school in Salisbury (now Harare). Lessing left school aged 14, and thereafter was self-educated."

Doris Lessing, as a woman of Middle Eastern background (she was born in Iran, though of English parents) was probably overreacting to the recent tragic assassination of Benazir Bhutto.

Her remarks should be taken with a grain of salt.

America is not Pakistan.
