"There"s one way to make Obama assasination proof. Cheney as Vice President. Think about it. That"s how Bush has lived this long."

Good one. That"s a joke told about other presidents as well.

Nixon supposedly picked Agnew as VP to protect himself that way.

And remember that one about, "If Bush is shot, the Secret Service has orders to shoot Dan Quayle" -- Was it Lloyd Bentsen who cracked that joke ? -- but it created a minor controversy at the time.

It''s weird that a lot of people have a fear that someone will try to assassinate Obama, but the same thought has crossed my mind as well. He''s a threat to a lot of people in the establishment.

He does have secret service protection, but unfortunately the best agents are assigned to protect Bush.

Hillary is a dangerous person, and as I am from Australia, I am not trying to push any party so I can say things without bias..

I deeply respect the fact that both of the Demicratic canidates are willing to put their own lives at risk for the country. It sure is a lot better then having a president that skiped out on his military duties. If Obama or Cliton where to be killed it would only solidify the support for their cause becuase they would be made out to be a marter. This is why I respect both of them for running.

guys, what gives up hope and reassurance is that our current president has not been touched, and hopefully won''t be.

"Now how would a British writer have a clue as to what''''s going to happen in America. What a bunch of cr@p." posted by standlee5

Yikes, are you serious? The whole world knows what is happening in America because your media feels the necessity to tell every nitty gritty detail of what is going on in your country! People all over the world are reading the articles and posts on this website. CNN is viewed all over the world.

I cant believe that America would not vote a person because of his color... Who cares as long as he does a great job.. and is the best man for the job...
I only judge people for their honesty, morals, integrity, and genuineness.. which I cant see in Hillary at all but don''t know about Obama..Hillary is a dangerous person, and as I am from Australia, I am not trying to push any party so I can say things without bias..
