McCain voted against the last tax cut because he wanted spending cut to pay for it. He supported the surge when no one else did. People like Coulter and Limbaugh are irrelevant, stop the finger pointing and work towards solutions. If we end up with McCain and Obama as the nominees, I would think that would be a good thing.

New Face of the GOP huh...looks and sounds like more of the same for the right. I''m happy about one thing though, if McCain is the man they put up front, no worries!

RIP GOP

I would someday like to say goodbye to World War II, the Cold War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, the Iraqi war, the war on Terrorism, the war on poverty, the war on drugs, the war on immigration, the war on mother Earth, and every other war that mankind feels it must engage in. That day will never come in my lifetime if Senator McCain - the next "WAR" President is elected on Nov. 5, 2008.

That day may come with Sen. Obama; who is carrying the message of hope to the future stewards of planet Earth. As a Vietnam veteran that is so tired of Bush the "war president", I can only hope that my last days on Earth will be watching my children growing up in a nation that is leading all nations towards peace, prosperity, and a environmentally sound planet.

Why would anyone in their right mind heed anything Pat Buchanan has to opine about anyone? His credibility is perched right next to Hannity, Rush, Jesse Jackson and Hillary Clinton. McCain may himself not be the new faceof the GOP but he sure as heck knows how to make friends on both sides of the aisle, and win delegates in spite of the religious rights best (or worst) efforts to discredit him. He says he is conservative to appease the 25% of the GOP that still yearn for victorian times, but boy does he like those right leaning independents. You may not like him but he is changing the face of the GOP...for the better.

God help the USA if they are stupid enough to elect McCain.
If you think Bush was bad, McCain is much much worse.
He has only one thing on his mind and that is another war and doesn''t know *** about the economy.
