- REPUBLICAN VOTERS WERE COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF DUE TO RAMPANT VOTER REGISTRATION FRAUD IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. THOUSANDS OF REGISTERED REPUBLICANS WERE ILLEGALLY SWITCHED TO INDEPENDANTS, THEREFORE COULD NOT VOTE.
WE ARE NOW LIVING IN AN SOCIALIST OPPRESSIVE NATION WHERE OURS RIGHTS ARE CLEARLY BEING VIOLATED. - Reply to this comment

- Perhaps. But the challenge that endures for Obama is changing the way women and the over-60 crowds have voted so far this year. White women voted for Clinton by a huge margin, 58 percent to 38 percent. Voters over 60 went for Clinton 55-38. These groups are the stalwarts of Democratic primaries and pose a huge obstacle for Obama.
And this will never happen those same group grudge dynamics used in the Hillary is a Racist the white man is being mean to the black man psych by Obamas campaign, polarizes two ways and pushed white women as well their is no trust and he certainly can not win them back on sustentative issues. - Reply to this comment
- "Clinton was saved from impeachement and that was close.

Clinton was impeached in Jan of ''99, the votes were along party lines, since a super-majority was not reached, Clinton was acquitted. Clinton was charged with purjury and obstruction of justice for lying under oath about having oral $ex with Monica Lewinski. This came about during an investigation about a land deal the Clinton''s were involved with.
So basically, Bill was impeached because Ken Starr found out he was having some on the side and got him to lie about it in front of a grand jury. We usually call something like that a witch-hunt.
Now the real tragedy is that the country and the congress got such a bad taste in it''s mouth (no pun intended) for the salacious dirty side of the impeachment process that when Bush/Cheney did things like illegally wiretapping American citizens (Felony), lie about WMD to get us into a war (Felony) we ignored it because we "don''t want to go through that again".
It''s a pity that the people who like to stand up and so proudly declare "I''m an American" are the first ones to turn tail and slink away like cowards when faced with a real attack on OUR constitution by a corrupt and criminal cabal. - Reply to this comment
- we need a decisive leader that can get both dems and repubs to do what is right for america, not what is right to keep good poll numbers. with so many repub lawmakers retiring, this may be a great time, for a person with vision and negotiating skills to get america back on track. you decide who has the leadership skills and the vision to get america out of the morass it finds itself in.

- "The implications of this are overwhelming.
Posted by middleagewhi at 10:16 AM : Feb 06, 2008"
So what were the implications when the Roosevelts held the Presidency for a combined 20 years, the Adams family held the Presidencey for a combined 8 years, the list goes on. The implications are of no consequence, dynastic families in American politics have been common place.
The only thing that makes this out of the ordinary for American politics is the fact that if Hillary gets elected, two families will have handed the presidency back and forth successively. - Reply to this comment

- If Senator Clinton wins the general election, and lasts just one term, the office of the President will have been in the hands of the same two families for 24 years. The implications of this are overwhelming.

- If you guys really want out of Iraq instead of a promise to get out you will have to defeat the Clintons first. 70 delagates +/- is not a big spread. The Liberals still have a chance to beat her if they mobilize to do so. He is the only one that has the balls to completely pull the plug on Iraq.

- I think that it would be a shame for a candidate to be elected just because of their gender. My opinion, with her as president it will be the Bill and Hillary show with him getting a third bite at the apple. I don''t care for Hillary because she come across to me as a snob. I too voted yesterday, the far better Democrat candidaes will not win in the general election if Hillary Clinton is their candidate.
