Romney has done far more as Governor for conservative social and fiscal issues than McCain or Huckabee as they served in the Senate and Governorship. What has Huckabee or McCain DONE other than used the retoric? You can read Romney''s record which is substantial and not just talk.
Romney:http://www.mittromney.com/News/Speeches/
"People often ask me how a conservative Republican such as myself could have been elected in Massachusetts. I tell them that there were three things that helped account for my improbable victory."

Go to the site and educate yourself on the truth that neither media nor other candidates will be honest about. Romney is the real Reagan Republican

Huckabee is the best candidate, and if he were not in the race, my vote would go to McCain, not Romney. Romney is no conservative. He ran as a liberal to win as governor in Massachusetts, and now is trying to call himself a conservative. His religion has nothing to do with my decision, it is his record that repels me. He was largely responsible for making gay marriage legal in Massachusetts. While running for governor of Massachusetts, he said that he would never get in the way of a woman''s right to choose, and he has large financial holdings in the very broadcasting companies from which Limbaugh and Beck shout his praises. If he is on the ticket in November I will write-in Huckabee. If McCain is on the ticket, I will vote McCain, but as long as Huckabee is still standing, my vote goes to him. He has been running against all odds, and his hard work deserves my faithful support. I will not be bamboozled by the pundits and pollsters who tell me he doesn''t have a chance. He beat the Clinton-supported candidates in Arkansas, and can win over the nation when he has the name recognition that a primary nomination will give him.

Huckabee is the best candidate in this race. His campaign has not enough money but is doing well. I don''t know why the media always says the two-men race for GOP right now. I never see any state-by-state delegate analysis showing that Romney has more chances in Super Tuesday. So the two-men race is just the media opinions probably originated from Romney''s compaign.

The media''s You-decide-2008-and-I-tell-you-how goes in Super Tuesday.

I am not an evangelist and do not attend church but I am supporting Huckabee. How can that be? The media would like you to believe Huckabee''s only following is evangelists who attend church more than once a week. BALONEY! Now is the time to show the liberal media we are not drones that can be swayed by their biased reporting. Let''s take back America.

Where is the evangelical outrage for what the Neocon republicans have done to this country? Have you NO shame in putting a madman in our White House?

Romney is not an option for me. Is he better than Hillary or Obama? Probably, but I''m tired of voting for the less of two evils. The Republican party has courted Christians to gain their votes and then when it comes to the issues that matter most have used those issues to compromise and reach across the aisle. I appeal to other Bible-believing, God-fearing people to vote your conscience. I believe God is more interested in us voting for morality than He is our voting out of fear for our economy or security.

Mike Huckabee would have had this wrapped up minus several factors (and I''m not counting Him out... I for one will write his name in on the ballot in Nov. if it comes to it)... those factors are Romney''s deep pockets, Romney being the media darling, the constant lie by those people look to for "news" that this is a two-man race... and the Fred Thompson spoiling the SC vote to help McCain. Prior to SC Huckabee was very high in the polls, even nationally... The media sold him out. Stand for what you believe, our nation needs a moral compass. Righteousness exalteth a nation!

I am from the northern midwest and will support Huckabee to the end regardless of whether he is in the news or paid media or not. I do not let the media tell me who I should or should not vote for. Frankly, if the media is propping someone up, I have huge doubts. Do you own research on the issues and you will see Mike is the only conservative left in this race. Go Mike!

Romney''s stance on issues falls in line with true conservative thought. If Huckabee drops out, Romney has my vote.

I don''t think it''s Romney''s Mormonism faith that repulses voters, it''s his pompous, phony, condescending manner as well as his lack of vision other than seeing himself sitting in the Oval office and in every mirror in the White House. He is a fork tongued liar that changes his stances more often than he does his underwear.

Huckabee is still a viable candidate and if he had the deep pockets that Romney has he would have won the race already.

I agree with the point you''re trying to make, but not the way you go about making it. You start out saying it''s a two man race, Huckabee no longer matters, then oh, by the way, Romney has given up on the south because he knows he has no chance to win there against Huckabee. Seems like a major impact by Huckabee to me.
I would agree that given that Huckabee''s supporters will never vote for Romney, then it could be said that Huckabee''s staying in the race is a non-factor, because if he stays in the race he gets the votes, and if not, the majority of those votes will go to Mc Cain. So since there are no other voters out there, Romney will lose to Mc Cain no matter what Huckabee does. It''s just a matter of Romney finishing a close third to Huckabee in a 3 man race, or getting completely blown out if he goes head-to-head against just Mc Cain. It''s not that Huckabee is a non-factor because clearly he is, but rather it''s the act of him staying in the race or not that''s a non-factor because Romney loses either way.
A better title would have been "Romney''s Campaign No Longer Viable" or "Romney Loses No Matter What Huckabee Does"

Things are not always as they seem. Huckabee has more supporters than you realize.

I am still one that is supporting Huckabee. I have faith in no other candidate. I have to go with my principles!
