"Romney wants to run America like a corporation"

Why do people try to *predict* how Romney will govern when all they have to do is look at his record in Massachussets ? His actions will be consistent with what he has done in the past. Plus, few people say this..but his faith actually promotes conservative values (self-reliance, pro-life, budgetary restraint, etc.) but Romney himself can''t say that because he will be lambasted for using his faith to promote his candidacy (even though Huckabee gets a pass on this every time).

More proof that Romney or any other venture capitalist CEO should be nowhere near the white house:

In 1992, Bain acquired American Pad & Paper. By 1999, two American plants were closed, 385 jobs had been cut and the company was $392 million in debt. The next year, Ampad was forced into bankruptcy.

Bain and Goldman Sachs bought Dade International for about $450 million in 1994, and quickly fired or relocated at least 900 workers. Over several years, it sunk into debt and laid off 1,000 workers. In 2002 it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
A 1997 buyout of LIVE Entertainment for $150 million resulted in layoffs of roughly 1/4 of the company''s workers. The job cuts affected all aspects of the company, from production and acquisition to legal and public relations.

In 1997, Bain bought a stake in DDI Corp., a maker of electronic circuit boards. Three years later, Bain took the company public and collected a $36 million payout. By August 2003, the company filed for bankruptcy protection, laying off more than 2,100 workers.

Four months after the bankruptcy, unhappy shareholders sued company executives, the initial public offering underwriters and Bain for mismanaging the IPO and failing to disclose company financial information.

proof that romney is a phony and knows only how to generate wealth for himself and other superwealthy elitists at the expense of middle class americans:

"While in private business, Mitt Romney utilized shell companies in two offshore tax havens to help eligible investors avoid paying U.S. taxes, federal and state records show.

Aides to the Republican presidential hopeful and former colleagues acknowledged that the tax-friendly jurisdictions helped attract billions of additional investment dollars to Romney''s former company, Bain Capital, and thus boosted profits for Romney and his partners.

Romney has based his White House bid, in part, on the skills he learned as co-founder and chief of Bain Capital, one of the nation''s most successful private equity groups. His campaign cites his record while governor of Massachusetts of closing state tax loopholes; his involvement with foreign tax havens had not previously come to light."

Romney is the only candidate prepared to fix our economy!

His record for proof:

In 1990, Romney was CEO of Bain & Company, which was facing financial collapse. As CEO, within a year, he had led Bain & Company through a highly successful turnaround and returned the firm to profitability without layoffs or partner defections.

Romney served as president and CEO of the 2002 Olympic Winter Games held in Salt Lake City. Before he was called in, the event was running $379 million short of its revenue benchmarks. The Games ended up clearing a profit of $100 million.

In 2003, Romney was sworn in as Governor of Massachusetts--- Upon entering office, Romney faced a projected $3 billion deficit, but by 2006 the state had a $700 million surplus and was able to cut taxes.

Romney graduated from a joint Juris Doctor/Master of Business Administration program coordinated between Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School. He graduated *** laude from the law school and was named a Baker Scholar for graduating in the top five percent of his business school class.

Romney knows how to help our economy!

Bill Clinton''s Secretary of State, M. Albright, once remarked that ''it didn''t matter which party was in power, the foreign policy continued unchanged whether the Republicans or the Democrats were in power.'' Do you think that is not true for domestic policies as well?

Get your heads out of your fat arses, Americans! The mainstream of BOTH parties are dedicated to business as usual in Washington--with war in Iraq and the support of the Oligarchy at home.

Even now, a bill for a national draft is winding through Congress...and it will pass after the election and you can begin to receive the bodies of your children COD from the DoD at whichever public housing or work camp is favoured by your presence as the recession deepens.

With either McCain or Huckabee, the Republicans will come out looking like fools in 4 years and that would prevent Republicans from winning for years to come (something the Democrats and liberal media have known all along and why they favor McCain). It seems a revolt now, to the Democrats if McCain is nominated, would be a warranted sacrifice ----It''s Romney or bust!

A vote for Huckabee is a vote for Huckabee. John McCain is not a respected candidate among conservatives. He has no chance getting the %u201Cconservative%u201D vote. Obama has no experience. There is no way it will come down to McCain vs. Obama. Hillary will win the Democratic nomination . If either McCain or Romney get the nomination they will LOSE against Hillary. The only candidate that can beat Hillary is Huckabee. He has dealt with the Clinton%u2019s before, and is a true leader. Not some rich prick (who%u2019s aquired his money from his dad, and made a couple right choices to grow it) or 170 year old Pre-Historic Washington Problem. My vote goes to HUCKABEE!
