Edward1975,,,,, Big time, it is a cesspool -- Look at America, lost our moral standing, politically & morally corrupt, recession & a broken government

Turn around & look at Iraq,, Some have water only 2 day''s out of 5, electricity is sketchy, people are worse off,, The government is collapsing, Al Queda in the north & south ---

Then look at the Forgotten War in Afaganistan, another failed state.

truthmaverik, I''ve learned plenty about Ron Paul, mainly from reading and listening to his own words, and the more I hear and read, the more convinced that this guy is wacko! The only people for him are former pot heads, anti government fanatics, like former KKK leader David Duke & right wing militia types, and some uninformed misguided people against the Iraq war. (I too am against the war, but not crazy enough to vote for Ron Paul!)

Odd with most Americans against perpetuation of the Iraq occupation, these guys are campaigning on which of the two is the biggest war-monger.

Well Hillary Rotten-Clinton is the top bundler of lobbyist money for the Dems.

And McLiar (was McCain) is the top bundler of lobbyist money for the GOP.

And Gee Whiz just look who''s "probably" going to be the Dem and GOP candidates for Prez in November.

That''s right.....................................McLiar vs. Hillary Rotten-Clinton

It looks like Mitt Romney and Obama are correct.

WASHINGTON DC IS BROKEN ..........................really sad indeed

McCain is the most terrifying of all the candidates! Besides having sold out to lobbyists....He lies, manipulates, spouts his nasty mouth off and alienates people because of it. Can you imagine having to trust what he says about threats from other countries or how he would talk with them?!? He is a warmonger and uses his POW past to get people to feel they owe him the presidency. I am looking into the Democrat candidates and will probably vote for one of them if Romney doesn''t get elected because Huckabee is a close second in the scary department (with his ethics violations, his flippant style, lack of knowledge, over-religious rigid mentality and goofiness). McCain can''t change anything in Washington--- he is Washington. Huckabee might change things, but they would be things that are very divisive for our country (he refuses to separate church and state and doesn''t know foreign affairs). With either McCain or Huckabee, the Republicans will come out looking like fools in 4 years and that would prevent Republicans from winning for years to come (something the Democrats and liberal media have known all along and why they favor McCain). It seems a revolt now, to the Democrats if McCain is nominated, would be a warranted sacrifice ----It''s Romney or bust!

It seems the (poor) choices for Prez are limited to the four ''leaders'' consisting of one radical, two liberals, and one moderate (Romney).

I saw the debate. It was kind of hard to keep your mind on what they were saying. Having them seated at a table too low in chairs too small was distracting. Not only did they look like basketball players in grade school seating, it was apparent that they didn''t know what to do with their feet. In this setting, McCain looked like the playground bully, and Paul looked like the kid who had to go to the bathroom. . . .

This is one of the weakest group of candidates that both sides have ever fielded. It is embarrrassing that our political arena has sunken to these levels. True leaders want no part of the cesspool that is American politics and in a time when we could truly use a leader. What a shame.

A vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCauin which is a vote for the Democratic nominee regardless of who that might be. How ironic!

"Romney said...McCain said...Romney said...McCain said..."

Hey CBS, how ''bout doing some real reporting here. You know, informing the public as to which statements are accurate and which ones are distortions.

Man, I wish I could get paid big bucks for being this lazy.

Don''t be fooled. CBS News is the news "THEY" want you to hear. Propoganda. They continuously prove this when they exclude Ron Paul one of the Republican canidates for president. It is quite remarkable how firmly entrenched they are. I hope people are smart enough to realize, if you want to attempt to know what is going on in the world, the mainstream media is NOT the place to get your information. The others..CNN, NBC, FOX- they are equally as bad. Don''t be a Sheeple!

Did I miss the coronation? Did McCain or Romney win 1100 delegates when I wasn''t looking? What a dissapointment. This was no debate. Cooper Anderson has no businees conducting such an important event. Repeatedly he lied to Huckabee and Paul, promising to allow them to participate, then totally ignoring them. I admire both Paul and Huckabee for not getting up and walking out. Even CNN''s own analysts recognized that in his very limited time, Huckabee won the debate. Perhaps CNN was trying to get into the business of producing a revival of "The Odd Couple" by getting McCain and Romney to go at each other. I did enjoy seeing the "deer in the headlights" look on Anderson''s face when he finally did get to the "line graph" from the undecided. Even though McCain and Romney got high marks on certain remarks, the most consistantly high marks were given to Huckabee and Paul. But since that didn''t fall into CNN''s plan, Anderson quickly dismissed the whole thing. Maybe someday one of these networks will have a legitimate debate....but I''m not holding my breath
