- If you trace back the growing NeoCon plague far enough, you will find Paul Wolfowitz to be Patient Zero. His theory that America should attack and overthrow totalitarian governments and install democracy was rejected by George Senior and embraced by Junior.

- Again and again Wolfowitz has proven himself inept and kind of stupid, yet he has been given oportunity after opportunity to prove it again.
With this move, Secretary Rice puts yet another nail in th coffin of any possibility for her to run for office. - Reply to this comment
- His leadership was undermined by a furor over a hefty compensation package he arranged in 2005 for a bank employee who was also his girlfriend. So let me get this straight he stole money and put it into a financial package for his girlfriend and he is still employed by our government. Wow way to go guys really making America look good. And one of the Bozo''s responsible for the illegal war in Iraq. Great now they put this corrupt egghead back in control or arms.Whhoo for a second there I was afraid he might take a position have influence to start another ILLEGAL WAR!!!!

- Look at his picture - probably the saddest thing about the World Bank debacle was that there was some poor female hard up enough TO BE his mistress.

- This is an outrage, this Bush Cheney crony should be tried for crimes against the American people for his scam intelligence in the run up to Iraq and the stupidity of it will cost under 50 Million doofus, not employed by the tax payers, Rice has no judgment but is only GWB puppet they are probably trying to stop the guy from writing a book..
Call Secretary Rice and let her know we the American People do not choose to subsidize this incompetent nor do we trust him, as we did not wish to when he gave his girlfriend a 60,000 raise at the world bank and was booted.

- parrot2 - I''d add a little history to your list of Republiscum; Reagan, James Watt, Atwater, Nixon, Haldemann, Erlichman, G Gordon Liddy and McCarthy. Oh and you missed out Rove - the most recent guru of slime. It''s truly amazing that the Grand Old Party (which in itself is misleading as the Democratic Party out-dates them by about 50 years) still exists.

- Putting Wolfowitz back in any government job is a mortal sin, but putting the chief architect of the Iraq War in charge of a "Powerful arms control panel"??? I mean, you''ve got to admire their chutzpah at least. (Note: use of Hebrew word intended).

- "STILL the nastiest thing on film I"ve seen! In the opening credits of Michael Moore"s film F9-11....old Wolfie sticks nasty old comb in his mouth to cover it with saliva, then starts combing his hair...repeatedly. Ewwwwwwwhhhhh"

That"s a debatable point.
That scene in "Alien" where the creature rips through the guy"s chest, is arguably worse.
Then there are the vomiting scenes in "The Exorcist" that might give Moore"s scene a run for the money. - Reply to this comment
- Mr. Wolfowitz, like all neoconservatives, is a loyal only to his warped ideaologies. He will eagerly sacrifice the sons and daughters of America to serve it. He will bankrupt the nation to pay for it. He will do everything in his power to carry out the goals of PNAC.
He is smart, but not wise. He is clever, but not insightful. He cannot examine his beliefs, because to do so would cause them to evaporate. He cannot stand to look at his handiwork, because it is knee-deep in human blood and misery.

jowand, are you a young girl ?
Because that is the typical response of a pre-teen or teenage girl to all criticisms, particularly from her parents:
"You hate me !! You just hate me !!"
Then she goes and sulks in her room.
That"s why I ask. - Reply to this comment
- Wolfowitz currently is a defense and foreign policy studies expert at the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative Washington think tank.
Oh my, look at all the slime residing in this "think tank".
