- steeepe, don''t forget the only president who gave amnesty to illegal aliens (and he actually called it amnesty) is the hero of the Republican party, and of the conservative movement, Ronald Regan! I''m no fan of McCain''s but his plan is not Amnesty.

- More than likely, Romney will win the nomination not McCain. In the end, McCain has been too cozy with the liberals for most conservatives to accept, a fact that has to be acknowledged. Romney will get the Republican nomination for sure. I''d be genuinely surprised if he didn''t.
