I wish Jeb would have run. I really like him, and I think he would do the best to carry his brother''''s policies forward.

Posted by misands at 05:27 PM : Jan 22, 2008

the only way Jeb would stand any chance at all would be if his campaign slogan was something like "My brother is a complete moron and as*shole and I hate his guts!" Even then I don''t think America will elect someone with the name "Bush" ever again. Even if they can prove they''re related to the mongoloid idiot that ruined this nation, George W. Bush!

"America is responding to Fred''''s exit the same as they did his entrance, with a collective yawn........
Micma

Has there been anyone that hasn''t made us collectively yawn ? EITHER PARTY ?

As usual, it is a decision on who NOT to vote for instead of who to vote for. And, in that case, a yawner often wins.

j-whitman - Alberto is is own man. Whatever he did was his doing. Coaching doesn''t mean he told him to lie, or whatever you claim he did.

Doesn''t matter he isn''t running now.

What I was saying is, from what I heard the man say, I believe him to be a forthright man. He said he wouldn''t change his mind on his positions to win, and he didn''t.

I have little doubt that most wouldn''t be willing to sell their souls (metaphorically)

I noticed something about that on most viewed videos.

Like you said - its a grueling task, campaigning.

So anyway, I''m thinking Hillary is going to beat out Obama. Myself, I''d prefer him over her, not for gender reasons - don''t care about gender.

She''s a known quantity to me, and I''m not impressed - where as I figure he can''t be as bad.

But I think she''s going to come out on top after super Tuesday. As I don''t have a stake in it - here''s to hoping your man wins. (although, my opinion is he has a better chance of winning the Presidency than Hillary if he gets the Dem nomination).

I know we don''t see eye to eye on politics - fact is - I''d say we get down-right venomous. But I can respect you liking anyone - and not even call you names for it. Think you''d do the same ?

A career lobbyist is not the answer to America''s problems. That''s like drinking a gallon of whiskey to cure a hangover.

"speakinup,,,, When did I call Fred a liar ???
Posted by j-whitman

You read my post the wrong way. I wasn''t saying you had said that. I was pointing out he is still alive and still not a liar, and that''s why I used the presence tense.

"speakinup,,, Looks like I called it right on Fred & Wilma, oop''''s I meant Hunter --- You ready to kiss Rudy bye-bye ?? ---- You folks don''''t have much left
Posted by j-whitman

I don''t remember you making this prognostication, but I don''t see all your posts either. I''m not a Rudy fan either - so that''s no loss to me.

Hey, why is Hillary and Obama going at it ? I think Hillary would do herself a favor, and call off Bill.

I mean if this gets too hot between them, she won''t have the option of him for Veep. She could benefit from his following. In essence, they were her crowd before and could really be turned off by this sort of squabbling. They might decide to stay home on election day.

Given a heck of a lot of folks won''t vote for her, that''s not something she can afford.

speakinup,,, You sound like Fred is still in the race
Posted by j-whitman

I''m assuming you mean I should have used the past tense, but I used the current tense, as he still isn''t a liar.
