- Romney''s run any more than Huckabee''s run doesn''t bring attention to anything other than CBS wanting to make an issue of it. In our country a person''s religion is of no electable consequence. Isn''t that what all your atheists and agnostics clamor for anyway?

mormons have a history of building cities out of swamp and out of the desert. they have incredible knowledge because their faith incourages them to gain loads of knowledge because they believe knowledge is the key to success. i guess that is why they are building cities and countries and economies while parrot2 and neocon are sitting at home typing on their computer with their d@cks in hand. - Reply to this comment
- i have gone to the local baptist church, that is white, and get looked at funny, as to why i am there and not at my colored church, but when i have gone to the lds church, i was welcomed and talked to and even sat by. my kids where taken in just like all the others. it is too bad that neocon is so much of an idiot that he cant see the real story.

- The Anti-Mormon comments tell more about the people posting than the Mormons. There are other churches in America that claim to be Mormon''s, but they are no more LDS (the religion of Romney, Sen. Hatch, Sen. Reid, etc...) than Protestant religions are Catholics. See the official church website (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) if you are concerned about what you see hear. The lies and attacks I have seen here are pathetic. Steve Young is also a Mormon and has narrated a 10 minute video on the churches website (click on News and Events and then Newsroom). It addresses some very big misconceptions about the religion. Let''s get back to politics, please!

interesting, my neighbor and i had a bet going that i would read the book of mormon, i do not recall such teaching as dark being evil. sure they did not let the blacks hold certain offices in the church, but that is no more, and i think they are glad of that fact and very color blind. none of them have treated me and my children badly and we are african american. in fact, if they were prejudice, they probably would not send their missionaries to other countries that are not white. think about it. these accusations do not make a lick of sense. - Reply to this comment
- I don''t care if a President believes in "Magic underwear or not". I do care whether or not he sends "Magic body armor to protect our troops.
Let''s stick to real issues folks! - Reply to this comment
- Uh, who''s this guy, Jack? You know? Jack Mormon?
If the mormons are not a cult, then why do they need fortified compounds such as the one they have near Eldorado, Texas? - Reply to this comment
- Reading/watching all this stuff, where ONE religious cult (mormons) complains about being attacked/persecuted for their religion, BY people from other religious cults, is truly amusing. Atheists are being attacked by almost ALL religious cults. Hmmm. The common thread here is that if you belong to a religious cult, you MAY be prone to attacking other religious cults. Oh, right, unless you are an atheist, which is NOT a religious cult (by definition), in which case you are more likely to live and let live, in peace. Anyone see a possible cure for all these attacks ? And make no mistake, some of these attacks involve firearms or swords. Dump the religion.
