Brian have you heard anymore about McClaughlin reuniting with Billy Cobham?

Apparently, there was recently a concert in Brussels with the two, the promoter told me he tried to get Jan Hammer, but couldn''t, and didn''t tell me why.

Private global corporate trolls who tell the people how they must bend over and take it cause large private corporations create the jobs don''t want Hillary or Obama but if they have to they will take them over the already defeated democratic candidates. Private corporate interests know they may not get a white right wing male this time.

There are so many things to read, it seems the grossest offenses never get discussed. How about those right wing neo con global corporate libertarians and their contract on our populist government and move toward hostile takeover?

There is nothing wrong with diversity, never claimed that there was variety is a spice that makes the world go around, it is the diviseness of all colors, religions, politics and economics that prevent us from uniting as one and challenging the system which is currently designed for the elite and not everyone as it should be. The high paying jobs have been outsourced and we have become a nation that is primarily concern with our own survival instead of being unified and concerned with the betterment of all.

The n word today actually applies to virtually everyone that is not in the top 1% of the wealthy in America. We are all slaves now to the corporate world be it blue collar or white collar and the sad thing is we have through our diverseness have allowed it to happen.

Agreed. Now the only way to take back our country is by recognizing and removing the practices of the anti "Black" variant of racism from society, so that we "Blacks" will know that there is a share in the struggle for us also.

Otherwise, as many "Blacks" might ask, what is the point of trading one "massa" for another?

By the way, lest we get a mistaken impression, I am not defending Mr. Obama. Mr Powell and Ms. Rice are living proof that just because someone has dark skin, one cannot always hope that such people share our goals. "Uncle Toms" and "Aunt Condies" (thanks to Ms. Rice for finally supplying the female name counterpart) are most often more harmful to "Blacks" than their "White" masters, and I sense that Mr. Obama is another of these, as he tries so hard to appear "non threatening" to the right wing racists, when they should be, like Al Qaeda, considered an enemy of the country.

But that is the myth, the myth that to succeed one needs march lock step like the nazis did or the right wing does. Diversity can work beautifully in this country. It''s the right wing trolls that like serpents plot how to make the diversity divide the people.

is that why when speaking to some Indians about outsourcing she stated she would continue outsourcing and then when speaking to the unions she said she was opposed to outsourcing. Now where is she really taking a stand at?

What good am I if I''m like all the rest,
If I just turned away, when I see how you''re dressed,
If I shut myself off so I can''t hear you cry,
What good am I?

What good am I if I know and don''t do,
If I see and don''t say, if I look right through you,
If I turn a deaf ear to the thunderin'' sky,
What good am I?

What good am I while you softly weep
And I hear in my head what you say in your sleep,
And I freeze in the moment like the rest who don''t try,
What good am I?

What good am I then to others and me
If I''ve had every chance and yet still fail to see
If my hands tied must I not wonder within
Who tied them and why and where must I have been

What good am I if I say foolish things
And I laugh in the face of what sorrow brings
And I just turn my back while you silently die,
What good am I?

Thanks to Bob Dylan.

"black people can rise up and approaching all white people like they are the only racists on planet earth is not going to bring about progress." Posted by l8c6

But we stand even less chance by passively accepting it, pretending it doesn''t exist won''t make it go away. The only way to combat it is to call attention to it, to socially, politically and economically sanction those who practice it, (since our "government" is so reluctant to enforce the laws) and do so unafraid of what those made however uncomfortable by our actions and words might think or do.

Sorry pal, get use to it!!! The talk of racism will be with us well past the election in November. Racism is this country is very real. Folks have been using racism for political gain well before the Mayflower landed on Plymonth Rock. Racism is enwoven into the fabric of our society.

Racism, people who are prejudiced against fat people, people with zits, people who are from Germany, Ireland, latin america whatever, the biggest threat to working people and the masses are those who vie for private elite rule.

Global corporate libertarians don''t want the people to rise above the petty divisions, the right wing plays on them and creates them to divide and conquer the masses. It''s an old trick that the Kings practiced in the old world.

Right wingers fear Hillary. They know she is a viable opponent and can effectively defeat them and their contract against america by bringing engaging the public in the business of their government.

Bush said he is the only one who needs to worry about government matters, it''s the american people''s job to get back to their business. Now that is scary.

STOP IT! Just stop talking about this non-issue. To call the Clintons racist is ludicrous in the extreme.

If Obama should get the nomination and subsequently win the election I fear for him for his family and their well being there are far to many idiots left in America, that aside I still want to know why he voted present 130 times.

"There is NEVER an excuse for black youth to climb aboard a public bus and yell at the top of their lungs "*****" Those who are unaccountable for their behavior and role lose respect. To blame others is like a drug addict blaming others for their failures." Posted by l8c6

If that is what they wish to communicate is it not their choice to do so? We do still have freedom of speech, and also the responsibility to accept the consequences of our free speech.

Respect? That is a patronizing courtesy reserved only for those chosen few, like Ms. Winfrey, and Mr. Cosby. The US doesn''t show, and never has shown respect for the "common" "Black" man, so where is the loss?

In fact, I, a "Black" man, a survivor of the violence of the civil rights struggle in Detroit, say that the "N-word" should not be banned, let everyone, "Black", "White" "Green" or whatever shade of the rainbow, use it freely, because we all will know the context in which it is used, and we will all know who the enemy is.
