dougandslug,

You are correct! You must have taken your hand out of your pants.

When a new system is introduced, it is always run in conjunction with the system it is to replace. That way both are checked for errors. In something as important as elections, it could happen for several years.

In a regular system, it is done for a couple of months, max.

I use to like Obama until I did some research on him.
Obama (Clinton & Edwards too) will not sign the bill to impeach Bush & Cheney. Not only that, but Obama DOES take money from LOBBYISTS!!!!! I hear him telling the american people in his speeches that he is against these LOBBYISTS..He is lying!!!!!! He is lying just like the other politicians and the truth about Obama will come out.Tell me, where do you think $100 million of these donations came from ????? WAKE UP
PEOPLE!!!!!He has alot of dirt that will come out about him. I am not a Clinton supporter either. My vote goes to RON PAUL who stands by the CONSTITUTION.
Ron Paul gets more military donations from soldiers
in Iraq. What does that tell you? Ron Paul gets his
donations from every day american. RON PAUL IS NOT
FOR SALE TO THE LOBBYISTS LIKE ALL THE OTHER CANDIDATES.

Sounds shallow but thats how lots of Libs think.

Do you have any idea how retarded you sound by disavowing all that is "Lib"? There are two kinds of ideas, good ones and bad ones. Your allegiance to conservatism is every bit as fatal as a "Lib''s" steadfast allegiance to liberalism. Both are inherently bad ideas, so grow some b*lls and learn how to think for yourself, please.

It''s easy to see how Obama will handle the coming swift-boating from the Republican playbook. Just look at how he''s handling the constant swift-boating from Clinton and company. Speaking of Hillary, she''s acting more and more like Joe Lieberman every day.

Abdoul_Pasha and erasmus6,

Your countries might hang on to the paper ballots for a while, but eventually they will be replaced. As I said, they are clumsy, they are prone to errors, they are not counted in realtime, which means they are time consuming.

Trust me on this one, guys. As I am part of the future of electronic voting, I know way more about it than either of you.

And I am not trying to put you down, either. I am just stating a fact. Most people don''t know as much about as I do. In my state, I would guess that less than 100 persons are actually as involved as I am and that is probably on the high end.
