Iraq''s government is about to collapse, & Sunni''s don''t support it,, They tell us to move out most of our troops by the end of the year..
.. We are still fignting Al Queda in the north & south as well as fighting militia''s in spite of the limited progress, violence is suppressed only by blast walls.

That won''t happen by going it alone, by launching pre-emptive military strikes not grounded on the strongest intelligence aavilable and with no planning for the aftermath when the opportunity to do so exists. It won''t happen without a diplomatic effort toward real coalition building leading the way. Don''t listen to the Dems on that, listen to Huckabee.

The USSR''s failure in Afghanistan by using a standing army against a competent guerilla force put an end to their hegemony and presipitated their demise.
And yes, I am referring to the Abu Sayef.
We''re failing in Afghanistan as evidenced by the highest heroin production in the country of all times and the highest loss of American combat troops in 2007 since the invasion.
We''re failing in Iraq as evidenced by the fact thoat our dignitaries still have to sneak in and out of Iraq unannounced like insurgents and the fact that Maliki''s government is no closer to ruling effectively than it was when installed.

- begging your pardon RowdyTexan2, but it was a 757. Don''t be an idiot and believe EVERYTHING you hear or see on the internet. I know eye witnesses are notoriously poor witnesses when identifying individuals, but it''s pretty hard for them to not know the difference between a ''rocket'' and a 757. They fy in one, and not the other.
And if you are going to challenge the fact that there were witnesses - you have to be REALLY ignorant to think that anyone is going to believe no one saw this event during rush hour when a freeway runs right next to the Pentagon. I mean the freeking building is 1/5 of a mile long on each side. So, get real, or understand that folks are going to think you are a certifiable like j-whitman is.
