Saying that a candidate is "dishonest" or like your evil boss seeking to lay you off is a personal attack (it is conclusionary and argumentative in nature and deeply personal) and reflects poorly on the speaker. It has no place in the Republican party and has nothing to do with the competing issues among candiates and real issues Americans face in this election such as the economy, immigration, national security, etc. The liberal media will let these kinds of personal attacks pass for a while as it serves their purpose, but mark my word on this folks....they will not be so warm and fuzzy with these types of personal attacks against their Democrat candidate in the general election. Shame on Iowa evangelicals for rewarding this kind of behavior in our party.

Are some Republicans really this stupid?? Whenever the media or some other pin- head refers to Romney''s contrast ads, it is ALWAYS called a "negative" or "attack" ad. What is "negative" or "attacking" about informing voters about differences in positions held by candidates?? NOTHING! Attacking a persons character or calling someone "dishonest," however, is "negative." Competing issues are why we have elections -- some Republicans need to stop playing games and get seriuos on this issue now or it will come back to bite us hard in the general election (this is exactly what the leftwing media is setting us up for folks - use your brain and look past the primary for just a moment). How can voters decide between candidates without making a comparison? If you are not making comparisons about candidates, then you have no business voting!!! If in the general election a Republican nominee is unable to provide a contrast ad wihout generally being veiwed as negative or attacking, we''ll have our hands tied behind our backs. Republicans will not get contrasting positions on candidates from the "mainstream" leftwing media on the issues that matter and each time our nominee seeks to have a disucsion or run ad on these issues, the media and all will say our candidate is being negative, attacking and mean spirited -- which is just absurd.

Huckabee will seek to legislate in Americans'' bedrooms, bowing to his electoral master who worship the light-eyed, light-skinned materialistic Germanic Jesus, rather than the swarthy desert Jew of truth. Sick.

Maybe Huckabee won because he doesn''t have the backing of the type of people who run "Swift Boat" ads and think that investing in water rights is the next coming thing after oil since a dying man is sure to pay top dollar for a drink of water.

As a mormon who has lived throughout the midwest, I am not surprised with the results. The pundits are clueless about the long history of deep-rooted fear and misunderstanding that evangelicals have for mormons. These feelings are mostly flamed by preachers, and there is still a large contingent of evangelicals who will never vote for a mormon no matter what the facts indicate. It played a role here.

Why was Romney not given time on TV tonight? I heard remarks on news programs from Obama, Clinton, Huckabee, and Edwards, but not from Romney. I guess the liberal media bias strikes again.

First, Mike Huckabee was not outspent in Iowa 20 to 1. Huckabee cannot beat a democrat. Sure Romney spent money, but he also raised the most of any of the Republican candidates. Evidently people want him to be elected and they donate money to his cause. If nothing else the Iowa result illustrates that the primary system is ridiculous. Huckabee ONLY has the support of the evangelical wing of the Republican party. He is going to have to whitewash his record to get the support of the rest of the party.

I am from Asia and I am excited at the thought that an authentic person, one who staunchly defends unborn babies, marriage, morality, the poor, and God, will become the leader of the free world.

It will be a better world indeed. Go Mike!

CNN is reporting that Huckabee only 4% of the vote from people who are not Evangelicals. Romney came out as the clear winner if you eliminate that voting block. Now that Huckabee is leading he better start getting heavy looks from the media. Romney and Rudy have been analyzed on everything for the last year. The media better be asking Huckabee "though he sounds good" why he rose taxes like a liberal? Why he fought to take tax money and give it to illegal immigrants in college? Why he gave a 1000+ pardons? I want answers from the Huckawannabe. Enough of the one-liners and lip service to Evangeleicals...because that will not do the trick in NH.

Iowa wasted their vote on Huckabee. I like him as a person, but he is not the strongest candidate for president, and doesn%u2019t have the support to anywhere else to get him to the presidency. Iowa voted primarily on who shared their same values; however, if they wanted someone with values who actually has a chance at the presidency, they should have gone with Romney.

Mitt Romney is clearly the most qualified candidate in this race on both sides. Nobody has a record like he does. He is the only one who has enough experience and will to really make a change in Washington. The reason Mr. Huckabee won is not because he is better suited to be president, but because Iowans were primarily looking for someone who share their common values. Romney shares these exact same values, but he%u2019s Mormon, Huckabee is Baptist. Looks like voters did let religion interfere with their vote.

The Huckster may have won due to the wrong belief he has religion and values...sure, he talks a big game but, when it comes to walking the talk he''s just another con artist selling snake-oil.

Congratulations Mike!

Mike Huckabee made political history today. Being outspent 20 to 1 and with every news organization in the world twisting the truth about him they couldnt fool the American people.

Mike Huckabee is a great role model for society. He has so much integrity, honesty, humbleness, charisma and good sense of humor.

Mike Huckabee is taking American to higher ground with a new American spirit. One that stops the squabbling and bickering from left to right to one that leads the country up.

This truly was the David and Goliath story. Mike Huckabee took out his sling shot with a small stone in it and knocked down the giant Romeny. Crash!!! You can hear the earth shake with the aftershocks of the giant falling.

Mike Huckabee earned his victory tonight with the sweat, determination, and principled discipline that we should all expect from a President. If you are impressed with his victory, I encourage you to take my challenge by visiting:
