Republican Shows Anti-Romney Spot To Reporters Despite Claiming He'll Rely On Positive Politics
- Romney is far worse (a liar and dishonest). True that this wasn''t a great move by Huckabee, but Romney and his false religion (which might explain his dishonesty) are worse (see current CNN.com Politics section headline on how dishonest Romney is!).

- I guess that''s how compassionate conservative pro-life neocon Christians get their attack ads in the media while removing their attack ads from the media.
This guy is complete loon. The neocons will probably put him in the White House to succeed the last loon. - Reply to this comment

- a great article on ron paul about his upbringing and his career long studies of economic policy... i doubt any other candidate from either party could hold a candle to his understanding of strengthening the dollar, inflation, and the fed debacle. has anyone looked at the value of the dollar to gold lately? its around $835 an ounce... this is triple what it was about 6 years ago... the dollar aint what it used to be.

- Slick Huck is no different then Slick Willie both from Hope Arkansas and both con artists.
This fake stunt that Slick Huck pulled today will be his Howard Dean moment. Mitt will win Iowa because he is the most qualified candidate running.
Slick Huck has zero class .............NEXT! - Reply to this comment
- To mancusweil: You must have something better to do on Feb 5th. Why waste your vote on L. Ron Paul and his Church of Scatology. It is soooo good to have the Nut Cases on the Republican side, but almost embarrassing to watch them eat their young.

- As the old, old song says,"First you say you will, and then you say you won''t. Then you say you do, and then you don''t. You''re undecided now, so what are you gonna do?" Come on, Reverend Huckster, Be decisive about something------- that''s what leadership is all about.

- Huckabee played the MSM like a fine violin. He got them to run his attack ad''s for free. With all the reporters there, why wasn''t he challenged for this distortion. Is this the way the MSM intends on helping Huckabee win over Romney, who they seem to see as a threat to the Demos???????? I noticed that most of the Cable News Outlets ran this story, doing Huckabee''s advertising for him. Now to be fair, how about giving free time to ALL the candidates an run some of their ads for free. Gov Romney''s ad are far from being "attack ads" but more to inform the voters the difference between himself an Gov Huckabee. But the Minister seems to have no qualms about attacking Gov Romney. If Gov Huckabee thinks the ads are untrue, then he should be explaining that, but he does not. Interesting.

- One hopes that the Huckabee campaign will counter Romney attacks by pointing out how he used offshore corporations, to avoid U.S. taxation, and fee-milked acquired businesses before firing workers and taking them into bankruptcy ( http://snipr.com/romneyoffshore ), to amass his great $250,000,000 wealth. (I have heard nothing about this until I discovered it quite by accident this evening.)
So, when you compare how Mr. Huckabee''s visionary FairTax advocacy ( http://snipr.com/nextrung ) compares to Romney''s interest in the current tax system, it''s pretty easy to see who will lead us out of tax slavery ( http://snipr.com/taxburden ) - $265 billion annual tax code compliance costs representing 5 billion wasted hours, annually. - Reply to this comment
- "Even though the candidate denounced negative advertising at the press conference, he said he would not rule out running such spots in the future, and wanted to see how Iowans responded to his pledge to stay positive."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How can Huckabee NOT rule out running negative ads in the future, and, at the same time, pledge to remain positive?
Which part is he being dishonest about?
Would anybody care to guess? - Reply to this comment
- Uh oh, slime in the Repbublican ranks again. Starting to sound just a little like how the Bush campaign unethically used exaggerations and blatant falsehoods to discredit John McCain several years ago. There''s no misunderstanding why Mrs. McCain detests George and Laura. Huck only did this because he''s not confident. It was intentional and slimey.
