Frontrunners Romney And Huckabee Fight For First While Rivals Seek To Exceed Expectations
- Mike Huckabee won me over weeks ago when he out-performed the other candidates in the TV debates that were rigged against him. His thoughtful positions on the major campaign issues solidified that view. His continued resilience in the face of the incessant media attacks against me are further evidence that he is the best man to lead this nation into the future. May God bless Mike Huckabee, and may God bless America.

- Pathetic indeed. Fearmongers and flat-earthers. A field that would have been a good fit in The Deep South half a century ago.

- This headline has all the sizzle of a WWF Smackdown. We are so sensationalized in America that if it does not have a jazzy title, all the ADD people with the attention span of gnats would never pay attention.

- Look like Slick Huck is the first candidate to ATTACK another GOP candidate with "personal" attacks.
I''ve seen Mitt Romney''s ads against Huck and their not attack or negative ads at all. Not sure why the wolfpack press continues to report them as such.
Mitt''s ads are "contrast" ads of FACTS which neither Huck or McCain can refute so instead both McCain and Huck make PERSONAL ATTACKS against Mitt Romney.
Really sad indeed. - Reply to this comment

- Small point but I agree with yamfield. Especially because Thompson has a picture displayed and Dr. Paul is polling above him in most polls.

- There are seven potential republican candidates, right? Why is it that Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter don''t qualify to have their picture in the photo set at the start of the article? CBS should know by now that Ron Paul supporters (yes another one) will point out the slanted media representation every chance they get. So why no picture of a candidate that your own article admits to having polling numbers "at roughly the same levels as Giuliani in Iowa"?
