- So far my vote is for Romney, who is unequaled in turning screwed-up organizations into healthy, functioning entities. He has the ability to do this by working WITH the opposing side with a WIN-WIN philosophy, rather than the win-lose memtality of politics-as-usual.
That said, I also really like Ron Paul. He''s an exemplary man of character.
I think I''d like to see them as a team, one way or the other.... - Reply to this comment

- Never mind their religion!
How many of them are Freemasons?
Why are there Masonic symbols on our dollar bills?
How many previous Presidents were Freemasons and how did their membership in this Secret Society affect their decsion-making? - Reply to this comment
- "While in private business, Mitt Romney utilized shell companies in two offshore tax havens to help eligible investors avoid paying U.S. taxes, federal and state records show."
"Romney gained no personal tax benefit from the legal operations in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands. But aides to the Republican presidential hopeful and former colleagues acknowledged that the tax-friendly jurisdictions helped attract billions of additional investment dollars to Romney''''''''s former company, Bain Capital, and thus boosted profits for Romney and his partners." - Reply to this comment
In a recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal Poll, a full 76% of Americans surveyed thought that our current 2 Party system either "has real problems, or, "is seriously broken."

May the Democrats and Republicans soon find themselves along side the Torries and the Whigs, in the dustbin of U.S. political history.- Reply to this comment
IAmAnAmerica,
Re: "Romney is the ONLY candidate running on an agenda that includes all the facets of Republican society."
Let''s see...greed, cowardice, selfishness, deeply repressed homosexuality, blind hatred, racism, shocking stupidity, pedophillia, fear, ignorance, plunder, and religious-nuttery...have I identified all of the facets here?- Reply to this comment
- And as for Ron Paul! OMG!!!!! Please nominate him! Oh da*mn even I''ll start believing in a god again if the republicans nominate that as*shole! He''s such a complete whack job that it would be just like when the Democrats nominated McGovern in ''72, except much much much much much more stupid! Pee Wee Herman would kick the living sh*it out of that moron! PLEASE NOMINATE RON PAUL!!!

- Mike Huckabee is a religious fascist and no different then any Muslim extremist in insanity or danger. Romney is a flip flopping pander bear and is pathetic in his desire to please anyone and everyone, while maintaining no spine of his own. Giuliani is a one trick pony who glosses over the fact the most of the emergency problems in dealing with 9-11 were his fu*ck ups. What does that leave? A senile McCain who needs his diaper changed? A sleepy Thompson who doesn''t want to be distracted from his nightly BJ from a wife the age of his grand daughter?
The republican side of the race is a sad pathetic joke. - Reply to this comment
- Ron Paul, the candidate CBS News is afraid to even show his picture on it''s website, and won''t talk about (except in passing) on it''s nightly newscast is the ONLY candidate who is not slinging mud, and is also the ONLY candidate not having mud slung at him.
Why? Because first, he has too much character and honesty to say anything bad about another candidate, unless responding to an attack from another. (I guess he feels the rest do a good enough job making THEMSELVES look bad!). Second, you can''t throw mud at someone with no skeletons in their closet, if he''s been consistent on voting according to their principles, if he''s been married to the same woman for 50 years and never cheated, if he''s never taken a government or lobbyist-paid junket, if he doesn''t take corporate or union PAC money and instead relies on individual small donors, if he;s so frugal with the people''s money that he returns unused congressional office funds every year, and if the only person you can find to say anything bad about him is someone whom he fired from his campaign 20 years ago for misrepresenting him!
Want to vote for character? Want to vote for someone the big corporations, big political machines and bureaucrats and the corrupt bought-and-paid-for media absolutely HATE? Vote for ROn Paul!
Remember, when you settle for the lesser of two (or more) evils, you''re still voting for evil!

- Mitt''s ads are about contrast and comparisons and these are public records! Huckabee who never finished seminary said he won''t do anything negative about the Mitt. Well, for a pastor and Christian he lied. And made it worse, instead of countering Mitt''s ads, he made personal attacks. McCain resorts to the same thing. All these candidates made mistakes somewhere along the way but to attack another candidate personally is blow below the belt. Mitt Romney is better qualified than the them all to lead and fix this country.

- Mike Huckabee has my complete support. This is the first chance we have had in a very long time to have a leader who is for "the people" Mike motivates me and I am excited to see the great things he will do for us and our country.
All of the negative attack ads won''t change Mike''s proven leadership record. As everyone has seen, Mike Huckabee has surged to number one in the polls. When people who hear him speak, they understand why he is the right choice to be President of the United States.
God bless Mike. If "we Americans" stick together, our country will move ahead strong with Mike leading it.
I endorse Mike Huckabee.

- There is only one candidate in this whole race who is not "Writing-Off" any primary states: Romney.
You can go after him all you want but in the end he is the ONLY candidate with a both a social conservative and economic conservative agenda.
I find it ironic that people accuse him of "pandering" and give Huckabee and others a pass.
Huckabee has no viable economic conservative agenda and is therefore doing only minor lip-service to New Hampshire - essentially writing off the chances of wining there on his agenda and instead he is just hoping for "momentum" from social-conservative Iowa.
Guiliani is the opposite of a social Conservative so he doesn''t even try in Iowa. He has also written off NH and every other early primary contest.
McCain has never tried to woo Iowa voters because he is no social conservative. He benefits in Iowa by the fact that the race is spread so thin that his poll numbers from economic conservatives make a blip on the poll radar...but he is not trying there and Iowans know it.
Romney is the ONLY candidate running on an agenda that includes all the facets of Republican society. - Reply to this comment
- Governor Huckabee has been attcked for supposedly not knowing that "Marshall Law had been Lifted" in Pakisthan. The television stations have been shut down and newspapers are restricted from making negative comments about the nations dictator. The supreme court chief justice, high-court officials and others throughout the legal establishment have been removed from office, placed under house arrest or have simply disappeared. The leader of the opposition party has been assinated! The current government took control in a military coo years ago. Yet the right wing neo-cons are trying to attck Huckabee for "not knowing" that the national state of emergency has "been lifted" in Pakisthan. Republicans are idiots and they do not support real democracy, even at home, nor do they support our constitutional right and american liberties. Throw the bums OUT!
