I do not think "staying the course in Iraq" is in any way positive for our country. By doing so, we have chosen a side in a Civil War and be party to a genocide that will only earn us more enemies. And, all of this was done, under false pretense and at great cost to the poorest members of our society, simply to benefit the wealthy, connected friends of the Cowardly Cowboy! And, when the long term problems caused for our soldiers and their families, which must be dealt with by a broken V.A. and our criminal justice system, it is a total loss. There is no benefit from staying there except the profit line of the Oil Companies!

I noted this weakness in my own argument but I still feel that liberals tend to blame failures on others we all do but liberals go to an extreme in this way and try to blame the govt or the system for problems

I honestly don''t think you would know a real Liberal if one bit you. This nation was Built by liberals... all our greatest leaders have CONSISTENTLY been liberals. I mean it''s the most rediculous statement I''ve ever heard that "Liberals want to blame someone"... this especially after Bush. When you start turning the pages of our history.. when you look at all the things that have been accomplished, the problems that have been overcome, there is ONE constant. Liberals have been the one''s out in front changing and making the country better... there is NO exception. Con''s like to bash them, asking us to look at their actions through today''s eyes. If you notice they NEVER EVER talk about THEIR solution to the problem.. Why? Because then as now they had NONE!! So you can do what the Talking heads do and have done all the way back to the days of the King, say it''s the fault of "liberal''s" if you want. It will do no good because then as now this is a LIBERAL NATION.

I completely agree. Even though I am a conservative I don''''t listen to or like rush and though out of boredom I watch bill o''''relly I often find his criticisms lacking force or logic.

Yeah. The only downer to new year is its going to be a bunch of presidential wannabees putting a spin on their message. Too bad we cannot hook them up to a polygraph during the debates.

Have a healthy and Happy New Year.

But, since he has never been able to do that, in your book, he must be one of those awful Liberals!

I am not an admirer of g bush but their are many on that post on this site who clearly hate him. I will give him one kudo. He is willing to stay the course in Iraq and if we are lucky it will be a good outcome due to his insistence that the Iraqi problem could be solved.

You may be right with some of the so called lefties. However, when you consider how the righties treated Clinton with their hatred I would say that hatred is not confined to only lefties.

All you need to do is turn on Rush Limbaugh to verify my statement.

To alanrobicsh2: To compare the Cowardly Cowboy to Lincoln is not the way to convince people that you are a rational person. I am not a Liberal and I don''t know anyone who hates Bush---and they just want him to "take responsibility for his own actions." But, since he has never been able to do that, in your book, he must be one of those awful Liberals!

my question when I came to this article was how the loony left would respond and answer ins normal with irrational hatred for George bush and using this event as an excuse to vent your spleen.

ANSWER: IMPEACH NOW & START THE PRECEDINGS BY CALLING FOR HIM TO BE REMOVED FROM OFFICE DURING THE IMPEACHMENT PRECEEDINGS, AND LET CONGRESS APPOINT SOMEONE ELSE TO FILL IN UNTIL THE TRIALS ARE OVER. See simple solution.

It would seem from the posts that somehow the bush administration can control the actions of every person in the world.

This is ignorance and shows how blinded with hatred most lefties who post on these pages are. I will also commit that many conservatives are guilty of this too but right now the liberals are in there glory.

what will happen if a dem is elected will the world become perfect ? or will you blame bush for what he did that caused it even if he had nothing to do with it. I won''t be surprised because liberals are unwilling to take personal responsibility. The answer when something goes wrong that its the societies fault and why didn''t the govt do things better. You''d probably have been among the copperheads in the civil war that wanted us to surrender when the troubles were great. fortunately we had a man named Lincoln who stood by his convictions to insure a United states

Pappy george bush sr. appointed the supreme court judges while he was in office, thus covering his skinny butte there in case they were needed. Which state had the most to complain about? Answer: Florida, who was govenor? Answer: Jezzibel Jeb Bush, then came the recall; chads, dents, overseas ballots not being added "on time", people who had remote reseblances to anyone that had even a parking ticket was discounted if they voted Gore, ALL that had some of a criminal past that voted for the shrubmonkey was kept. Double voting for Gore, tossed out, double voting for bush, kept. That means that anyone who voted in texass and possible lived in another state and voted there as well. The supreme court "awards" the presidency to shrubbie the 1st and by the time the second election rolls around and with only 12% voting, and a full tilt boogey smear campaign against a very "weak" democrat, presto, chango....shrubbie wins again. Its been nothing short of lies, home-grown terrorism, and ghost stories since.

People around the world look at a real leader like Bhutto and they see bravery and sacrifice for democracy and the good of the world. Then they look at Bush and the see a spoiled brat mommas boy of a child of privilege who used his father''''s political connections to run like a coward into the Texas ANG and spend his time drunk and coked up before finally going AWOL. They see a supposed president of a democratic nation and defender of human rights, instead show himself to be a liar, a cheat, a mass-murderer, and a greedy warmonger who believes he is above the law. Bush is America''''s shame and our nation will never be able to hold it''''s head up in the world again until this creature, this lying scum, this gutless coward, this disease, this parasitic insect, this thing is rooted out of the White House.

I have watched in awe as Bush-Blair has fumbled, stumbled and bumbled from problem to crisis racing onwards to their next disaster.
Please Mr. Bush, go sit under the tree, America will call you when it is time for you to go home.

And in between disasters they managed to fill up the time with a never ending stream of political, sexual and criminal scandals.

Once again The Law of Unintended Consequences has again overtaken our hapless president. From the beginning, The Bush-Blair team has suffered from so many disasters until no one notices the newest. I have watched in awe as Bush-Blair has fumbled, stumbled and bumbled from problem to crisis racing onwards to their next disaster.
Please Mr. Bush, go sit under the tree, America will call you when it is time for you to go home.

"Bush Condemns "Cowardly Act"

The rest of the world and most Americans look at Bush''s condemnation and say so what? he has no credibility left any longer to condemn anyone for anything. His is, without a doubt and bar none, the most criminally and morally corrupt presidential administration in history. He has shown himself over the years to be a coward, a liar, a drunk, a druggie, a hypocrite and a threat to world peace and democracy. No rational person believes anything he says any longer. His word carries no more weight any longer then the word of any other blood filled tick of a parasite like him.

Cowardly act? I would call it incredibly brave. It takes a lot of guts (literally in this case) to do this kind of thing.

I would have called it awful, horrible, blood thirty, senseless, violent, cruel, evil, and about 50 other things but not cowardly.

Most likely this act was perpetrated by Musharraf, Bush''s buddy. It was way too convenient for it not to be Musharraf''s responsibility.

So the Cowardly Cowboy wants them, "brought to justice....." Sounds a lot like the Valerie Plame case. And when it leads right back to the White House, does that mean, another pardon? Even, on the far fetched notion that he was not involved in this with his Goomba Mushareff, the C.I.A. would be a total failure if they did not know exactly what small group of people were responsible. So, Mr. Mission Accomplished, why not share that with us and the rest pf the World?

Didn''t you get the message from the propaganda ministry??? I''ll help you out... the issue of Proof? You were supposed to drop that! It cause''s people to drag out to many of Sir Lies-A-Lot''s speeches...the ones where he told us he had the Smoking Gun or he would Fire anyone in the White House who Outed the CIA Agent or so many more that are available. Shame we have people in this nation so much in denial that they can''t even figure out when someone LIES to them... course they elect people like Larry Craig to, so what would you expect? Sieg Heil Bush!!
