Their IQs were never officially reported.

Just a slight correction of facts for those who care about that meaningless ****** of whose grades (or IQ) is higher.

I would be happy if President Bush put just 5% of that money in my pocket. All the money used to fund the troops is for a good cause. Those guys have done a great job in Iraq and Afghanistan.

the Dems had the power this time around to stop funding but they, as clear thinking adults, understand that would undermine a war that is showing defenite progress and put our troops and America in more danger. THe "screaming child leftwing" in America needs constant pandering which the "lip service" the Dems gave them last election was nothing more than pascifier to silence the "child". True reality for those Americans who do not live in fantasy land as in the "Silent majority" also know, as well as the dems in congress, that if they do anything to thwart success or appear to side with the enemy with there efforts to thwart Americas efforts in Iraq that it would translate to no chance of winning in the 08 elections. It''''s too bad the left in this country cannot understand this reality but it''''s not surprising as there ideology is self blinding.

Prior to 2006 - who controlled Congress? How many years have the Republicans controlled prior to 2006 ?

What was the National Debt under President Clinton and a Republican contolled Congress and what is the National Debt under President Bush and a Republican Congress ?

The facts are very clear. The GOP wanted to burn 70 billion in Iraq and the democrats wanted to spend 28 billion on social programs. This was a bitter partisan battle that each side utilized their differences to play politics and one up each other during negotiations.

Unfortunately, we as taxpayers are footing the bill after they finish playing their high stakes political game to spend our money.

I once was involved in reviewing the cost justification for a government program and a best case estimate was that it return 14 cents on the dollar.

I wonder if government would share the cost justifications regarding Iraq or the Ferry to no where?
