Oh, soldiers don''''t die in wars? What about WWI/II compare the numbers to that of Iraq. Instead of looking at the numbers, hows about you honor these men and womens lives by realizing that they volunteered for this fight and died with honor. History will prove that Bush was right. Many criticized Clinton for getting involved in the conflict in Bosnia yet what has history proven? That he was right. ( I still don''''t like the man though) You''''ll see, same will be said of Bush''''s decisions.

Iraq isn''t a war - it''s an invasion and occupation. Bush had us invade and occupy Iraq, IN EXACTLY THE SAME WAY that Hitler invaded and occupied Poland.

Exactly how is invading a country that posed no threat to us, and never attacked us, and never harbored any enemy against us, helping OUR country?

I should rephrase that since you''re obviously not American:

"...helping America?"

I have a beef with throwing AMERICAN tax money at everybody and everything EXCEPT AMERICA and her problems!!!!Posted by hungry1968

And using our tax dollars to help our allies in the world was a Republican idea?

How much money do we receive in revenue from other nations tax departments to help us with OUR problems?

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

Well then, that should fit right in with your altruistic nature, now doesn''t it. We give to the world. Should make you feel proud. But Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo, you''re a greedy little bastardo, aren''t ya?

You''''ve got to be some foreign raghead. There is something really wrong with you. Now you got a beef about Israel. What else you got a beef about. Your moniker suits you - hungry. Hungry for everyone else''''s dollar. Then you give off this big socialist speel about providing healthcare for the children. Yeah, that''''s the new mantra "for the children" meanwhile you would boil them in oil if you could.

If that was the ultimate goal, then exactly why are we still there letting our troops die, while spending TRILLIONS of dollars on it?

Are you advocating leaving the troops in the field without any weapons, ammo, or logistical support after Bush has intentionally put them in harm''''s way for no legitimate reason?
Posted by hungry1968

Ha, ha, ha! Yeah, that''s what I support...dumbazz! You don''t actually think that the dems in congress who voted to put the troops in harms way in the first place would defund them now do you? All of them have been praying for there to be no success in Iraq, it''s their political platform. None could have anticipated such success now they''re trying to cover their tracks. Bunch of cowards all of ''em. You must not think a free and liberated Iraq is a good thing huh? Yeah, because it makes Bush look good and you don''t want that.

You and many have been brainwashed to believe that by our media. There is no civil war there. If we had left there would have been. Get your facts straight.

What progress has been made since the invasion?

Saddam Hussein was removed from power, and a sham puppet regime has been put in it''s place.

If that was the ultimate goal, then exactly why are we still there letting our troops die, while spending TRILLIONS of dollars on it?

Your opinion. Fact is, Dems and Repubs voted to send troops to Iraq. If it were wrong then why hasn''''t congress defunded it yet? No, instead they passed the new spending bill? Why is that do you suppose? They have the power of the purse, they could easily end this war by defunding it...why didn''''t they then?

We''''re fighting their civil war, brought on by the instability created by this illegal invasion and occupation. Think I''''m alone? MOST PEOPLE AGREE WITH ME:Posted by hungry1968

You dems are so ignorant. Just who do you think we''''ve been fighting in Iraq anyway? We aren''''t there to fight the Iraqi people, we''''re there to liberate them so that Iraq doesn''''t become a safe haven for terrorists. It''''s working dumb azz.

DON''''T BE GREEDY FOR SOMEONE ELSE''''S MONEY.

Posted by mudrose at 10:32 AM : Dec 20, 2007

Oh you mean like Israel is for OUR tax money?

Like Iraq is for OUR tax money?

Like Haliburton is for OUR tax money?

Like letting the christian based churches / lobbyists get a free ride on taxes?

I would rather give every dime to the all-time laziest American than to give one cent to any of the above mentioned international AMERICAN tax sucking pigs.

Funny too that I personally have paid more taxes this week, then the biggest lobbyist organization in the world (christian church) has ever paid in the history of our country.

Now if that money was being used in the actual War on Terrorism, going after the terrorists that actually attacked us, AND STILL POSE A THREAT TO US, then I might feel different.Posted by hungry1968

HOW ABOUT WE JUST TELL THE AMERICAN PEOPLE THAT THEY WILL BE TAXED 100% SO THAT FROM NOW ON THEY WILL HAVE CRADDLE TO GRAVE CARE SO THAT YOU CAN SIT ON YOUR FAT AZZ AND FEED OFF OF EVERYONE? THIS WAY YOU WON''''''''T HAVE TO PAY FOR ANYTHING OR ANYONE. IT WILL ALL BE SIMULTANEOUSLY GIVEN AND TAKEN AWAY. AND YOU CAN SURRENDER TO YOUR EVERY WHIM WITHOUT ANY SORT OF MORAL AUTHORITY LOOKING OVER YOUR SHOULDER TELLING YOU HOW UTTERLY PIGGISH YOU ARE. HOW''''''''S THAT, DOES IT HELP.

YOU FULL OF SAPPY *****. AND YOUR JUSTIFICATIONS ARE RIGHT OUT OF A GEORGE SOROS/LOAKOOF PLAYBOOK. GET A LIFE HUNGRY. WORK YOUR AZZ OFF, DON''T BE GREEDY FOR SOMEONE ELSE''S MONEY.

Is that what you''''re expecting with Dumbya or you don''''t get it until you see the protests and speeches again ?? Posted by parrot2

No, because there is progress being made in Iraq, whether you want to believe it or not. What''s to protest? The servicemen involved in the Iraq war joined voluntarily, they want to be there. They believe in the mission and want to follow it through. Same can''t be said for vietnam, so the protests were easier to understand. So why not call Johnson a murderer too? Because he was a Dem? Yes, that is exactly what this is all about. If Gore or Kerry were president and doing exactly what Bush has done, would you support it or protest it? Be honest...if that''s possible.

I have an excellent job with benefits. To give universal health care to every child would have cost the equivalent of 3 months of the Iraq war. A war against a country that did nothing to us, posed no threat to us, and never harbored any member of al Qaeda until Bush destabilized the country, providing terrorist a safe haven.

Now if that money was being used in the actual War on Terrorism, going after the terrorists that actually attacked us, AND STILL POSE A THREAT TO US, then I might feel different.

OUR tax money should be spent on OUR issues - OUR health care system, OUR education system, OUR national security, OUR police forces, etc, etc. Not "given away", as you put it, to the terrorist sponsored, sham Iraqi (Shiite) government.

Not on lies started by "curveball", spun into a threat by Bush, false intelligence ordered by Bush, while the al Qaeda terrorist threat was ignored since January 2001.

Ah yes, tax churches and we''''''''ll all be saved! What an idiot!

Posted by katg21 at 09:32 AM : Dec 20, 2007

If the churches paid income and property taxes, like every other paid lobbyist organization has to, how much money could be raised?

They had enough to pay $600 million dollars CASH in hush money to people molested in the LA diocese.

That''''s enough to pay for 12 hours in Bush''''s war!!!
