Iraq isn''t a war - it''s an invasion and occupation. Bush had us invade and occupy Iraq, IN EXACTLY THE SAME WAY that Hitler invaded and occupied Poland.

Exactly how is invading a country that posed no threat to us, and never attacked us, and never harbored any enemy against us, helping OUR country?

I have an excellent job with benefits. To give universal health care to every child would have cost the equivalent of 3 months of the Iraq war. A war against a country that did nothing to us, posed no threat to us, and never harbored any member of al Qaeda until Bush destabilized the country, providing terrorist a safe haven.

Now if that money was being used in the actual War on Terrorism, going after the terrorists that actually attacked us, AND STILL POSE A THREAT TO US, then I might feel different.

OUR tax money should be spent on OUR issues - OUR health care system, OUR education system, OUR national security, OUR police forces, etc, etc. Not "given away", as you put it, to the terrorist sponsored, sham Iraqi (Shiite) government.

Not on lies started by "curveball", spun into a threat by Bush, false intelligence ordered by Bush, while the al Qaeda terrorist threat was ignored since January 2001.
