GOP Hopeful Signed 1998 Statement Backing Idea That Wives Should "Submit Graciously" To Husbands
- These are common laws and were before the old testament was written. All slick Moses did was write down some of them and ad a few about his favorite god.

Baloney! The only law that existed before Moses was what the emperor, pharoh, ruler,or king decreed it to be,and that would change as he saw fit to his wants,or what the next ruler wanted. The ten commandments were for all! to observe forever. Just like you, many have rebelled at these universal laws,and/or God and pay the price.Just look at what a mess society is in. - Reply to this comment
- The biblical law says to honour and respect you''''re wife till death do you part, but then people have abandoned biblical law for the most and look at the consequences

- That you don,t believe in God is you''''re decision, but that does''''nt void the reality of his existance.

I don''t believe in Santa Claus either, but I suppose that the fact that some children do doesn''t make him any more real or unreal. Personally if you want to believe in a fairy tale like god or Santa Claus then I have no problem without. Just as long as you don''t try to force the gospel according to Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer to be taught in public schools or force other people to live according to Santa''s version of naughty and nice. - Reply to this comment
- Huckabee''s record is sketchy to say the least. Compare him to Romney issue by issue and the choice is all to clear. Romney doesn''t have a perfect pass, but at least he recognized it and made change. Huckabee on the other hand says he will not apologize for his record. This indicates he believes in his stance of raising taxes, pardoning criminals, and tax breaks for illegal immigrants. I can''t believe religion is influencing this clear cut choice between Huckabee and Romney.

- Of course it''''s a joke sometimes! It must be because I can''''t believe anyone would be serious about saying a wife should be subservient to her husband. If a man says his wife is subservient to him then either he''''s lying, she has him fooled or his wife has serious self-esteem problems. Unless of course they''''re into that whole slave/master thing in which case this REALLY isn''''t the forum for them.
Though I do know one or two places they could try. LOL!
Posted by SgtRDS at 02:47 PM : Dec 14, 2007 On you''re third marriage! what, are you a movie star? Maybe you should get a submissive wife next time LOL Seriously the way some people treat the vows of marriage is a real joke, changing partners as easy as their socks, and i''m not picking on you. The biblical law says to honour and respect you''re wife till death do you part, but then people have abandoned biblical law for the most and look at the consequences - Reply to this comment
- Really? Then how is it that most laws are based on don''''t murder, steal, lie, swear, ect most countries even prohibited work or business on sunday till recently.Sorry bubba but your argument does''''nt wash, law is based on the original commandments. That you don,t believe in God is you''''re decision, but that does''''nt void the reality of his existance.

LOL!!!! Because most of those laws existed in other societies BEFORE there even was a moses! The only way you could believe that modern laws are based on the ten commandments is if you believe that the old testament should be taken literally. Which would mean you would have to believe that societies that existed before the time of Moses, the Chinese, the Egyptians, the Greeks, etc., didn''t actually exist! They were here BEFORE Moses and they all had the same laws about not murdering, not stealing, not sleeping with another man''s wife, etc. These are common laws and were before the old testament was written. All slick Moses did was write down some of them and ad a few about his favorite god. - Reply to this comment
- Huckabee''s biblical reasons for so believing weren''t mentioned in the story, CBS. Mention those next time!

- Well, sorry to hear that. Do you have any more advise on marriage?
I''m going to start messing with the Ron Paul supporters and follow their example of campaigning on all topics. So here''s the start:
Duncan Hunter will finish building the fence along our southern border in an effort to quell illegal immigration.
Vote for Duncan Hunter.

- Here look. A political joke is Ron Paul running for president. That''s funny. Same with Huckabee.
Something''s political that aren''t funny? Bush''s murderous war against our troops and his hatred of children not of his upper "class". Those are not funny. See the difference?
Bible thumpers trying to tell people how to live their lives. Funny. Bible thumpers try to FORCE other people to live their lives like them. Not funny.
See? It''s easy to tell what''s funny and what''s not. - Reply to this comment
