I don''''t debate that kind of ***, because the Dimnowits are the ones that are racists and bigots. The have been holding the black man hostage for generations. Everytime one of them defects to the Republican Party and its principles they call him an Uncle Tom. The Dimnowits will do the same to the hispanics as well, but not until after the elctions. Any party that upholds traditional values, family, God and Country is always considered racist and bigoted by secular mongrels. What else is knew?

I can agree with part of what you said only. I do agree that the Democrats just use the voters and have found that many are as racist as an Republican but the Democrats work under a consensus of plurality where as the Repubs work under a consensus of the borg. One master, one way to think, all agree, total loyalty. that negates individualism.

Do blacks and others denigrate the Repubs and punish or eschew those who defect to them--absolutely. But Mudrose, you have to admit that the actions, attitudes and tactics of many Republicans (esp. at election times with the neg. racial ads) really make it too easy to paint them as bigots and racists. after all, for every known Dem. person who has made racist remarks, at least 3 or 4 Repubs can be found doing the same or worse.

This could backfire on Romney. Catering to a language in America for one group (no matter how large) when the majority of immigrants have to learn English basically sends the message to Asians, Africans, and Europeans that there is preferential treatment for a certain demographic. On the other hand, it show Republican voters that Romney may not be as much in their corner concerned about illegal immigration or racial preferential treatment issues as they thought.

This really could be a lose, lose for Republicans, Because the GOP base want to believe that they come first and foremost as American citizens than any other group. Many democrats don''t mind plurality in languages and how others are treated, but Republicans and many other Americans (including some Dems and Independents) see catering to potential voters in another language as a threat of one of the few cohesive elements in a culture (language) and in a threat of things to come. Whether true or not is not the issue--perception is everything and Republicans do not want a candidate who is pro illegal anything or who practices overt preferential treatment to any race.

GOP gringos will never get it. While I might not invite a Hispanic illegal immigrant into my house, still I feel a kinship with him/her. Over the years, the GOP has demonized these folks even though most of them are honest hard working people who try to live under the radar while they are illegal. To a varying degree, legal Hispanics identify with them. Thus, many of us have decided to vote straight ticket in 11/2008 - Democratic.

Absolutely. It sickens me to hear some of the things people say about them. They post lies like most of the people in prison are illegals or that they''re living on the government some how. There are Hispanics everywhere in Los Angeles, many of them here illegally, but every last one of them I have ever know is hard working and honest and would make wonderful citizens of this country. I''d be proud to have them as neighbors (and in fact do) and as Americans. Yes, secure the borders. Yes fix the immigration system. But also stop lying about them and grant a real path to citizenship for the undocumented workers already here that this country relies on.

It''''s simply not there. Quite to opposite in fact as many of the undocumented are actively being helped by the legal ones.

Oh but Randi, it is true, at least in some cases. I am quite sure that for every legal immigrant who has no animosity towards illegals, there is a legal immigrant who does, like the ones that I know. So lets all be realistic and stop making blanket statements just because it is what we personaly believe.

The GOP hates Blacks. The GOP hates Hispanics. The GOP hates Muslims. The GOP hates Ga*ys. The GOP tolerates Jews only because they think Israel is going to bring about the 2nd coming of Christ, other then that they hate Jews. The GOP hates anyone that is not a White Christian. So what makes them think anyone who is not a White Christian is going to vote for someone who hates them? A Hispanic/Black/G*Ay/ Jewish Republican would be like a Hispanic or a Black or a G*ay or a Jewish KKK member. Technically I suppose it''s possible, but why would they?

I too live in Los Angeles and the 57% of the
city that is Hispanic call themselves Mexican!
NOT American.. and the overwhelming majority
of them want Illegal Aliens to be legalized
to gain more political power to change our
laws to allow even more illegal aliens from
south of the border here! They seriously believe
their socialist/marxist ethnocentric leaders
and are acting as if in a race war NOT like legal U.S. citizens demanding that our government secure our border and protect U.S. sovereignty!
WE ARE ALL MINUTEMEN NOW!!

Sure they can get the Hispanics to vote for them.
Just lie to them as the political hopefuls lie to everyone else.
Make promises that you have no intention of fulfilling.
Hey, it works for non-Hispanics.
Cynical, you betcha.

Florida House Speaker Marco Rubio, one of the most prominent Cuban Americans in Florida, got behind Mike Huckabee''s fast-rising presidential campaign Monday. A huge endorsement!! Huckabee is tough on immigration, but his record shows he is also compassionate and fair. He is the only Republican candidate that can pull a huge number of votes back from the Democrats.

Actually around here (a stones throw from the Mexican border) the Hispanics (they call themselves Mexicans) that have immigrated into the country hate the illegals more than the gringos do.

Posted by three-o-six at 11:15 AM : Dec 10, 2007

I live in L.A. and am surrounded daily by Hispanics who immigrated here legally and illegally. There is absolutely no animosity between them It is a right wing fantasy that there is a split of some kind between legal Hispanic immigrants and undocumented ones. It''s simply not there. Quite to opposite in fact as many of the undocumented are actively being helped by the legal ones.

The GOP is losing ground with Hispanic voters because of it''s racist attitude toward them. The same reason most Black people vote Democrat. Not every republican is a racist that''s true, but you best believe that every committed racist is a republican.
