Even these soldiers though, deserve an apology from the Regime and collaborators who fraudelantly placed them in this situation in the first place.

Thank you for saying that, I was getting worried aboutn you. I know that every War has its atrocities and cruelties, I know from experience that all soldiers are not criminals. In fact very few are, probably the same percentages as in any country of good civillians to criminal ones. War is hell and ssometimes it brings out the very worst in people and sometimes it brings out the Very best. (We just don''t get media coverage of ''good acts'' like we do evil ones.)

Intentionally/recklessly killing, raping, torturing, maiming, and/or soddomizing civilians is always a war crime. The fact that these kinds of heinous acts kinds of occurences have taken place in Iraq, on a horrific scale, is not in question.

From the torture of Ubu Ghraib, to the gang-rape, murder, and mutilation of a young girl, and the execution of her family, to the cowardly mass-murders who slaughtered civilians in Haditha, to the trigger-happy idiots who shot even more unarmed innocent Iraqi civilians just today, there is no doubt that those who are involved in these terrrorist acts are war criminals.

Even these soldiers though, deserve an apology from the Regime and collaborators who fraudelantly placed them in this situation in the first place.

I am so glad to see someone that sees beyond their own nose. It never has been about Muslims in general, only about mindless zealots obtaining Nooks. None of the other nations will risk Total Annihilation by using their nooks except as a absolute LAST resort. The Zealots (extremists) have no such compuntions because they think ''they'' can force Armageddon or what ever by making Israel attack them.
