- Mitt the Twit didn''t mention that there was no al Qaeda in Iraq till the US arrived...If anyone is stupid enough to think that in a predominately Shi''a nation, a Shi''a-hating Wahabbist sect is going to have a "safe haven" they will be voting for mainstream candidates in 2008.
Romney also doesn''t mention in saying that ''Congress had all the information it needed to vote for invasion'' that Congress was both lied to and provided with a rationale for invading Iraq that did not bear up even under casual scrutiny at the time of the vote, so as to give congressmen a ''reason'' to follow their natural inclinations. If they had had a scrap of integrity and had performed simple due diligence, the Administration case for war would have folded like a cheap suit. - Reply to this comment
- O.K. Roxanna01, I read up on Tom Millican. To save the rest of you the time, he is a guy who after serving in the Army during Vietnam, never found the time to go back to college for a degree, even though he had the full G.I. Bill, but rather bounced from job to job until his religious enthusiasm got him into anti abortion activism, which caused him to leave the Democratic Party and spend much of his time protesting. Now, at age 63, a very old 63 I might add, he wants the opportunity to divide our country even more than the frat-cowboy has done. I think he might win---- the Presidency of South Carolina, but as for the rest of us who still believe in a Constitution, I really doubt he will be successful. But, it does tell you how desperate the Republicans are.

- To Roxanna01, I have watched and listened very carefully, and the most intelligent, caring, eloquent, and decisive candidate, who would be able to deal with the crisis we have been experiencing under this administration is John Edwards. Although, almost anybody except Giuliani, would be an improvement, Edwards gives the most hope for both domestic and international leadership. Please listen to him carefully and I will Google the guy you suggested as well.

Democrat Senators have been taking turns standing sentry duty this week %u2014
just to prevent - Bush from circumventing the confirmation process by immediately
installing people in federal posts while the chamber is in recess.
This is an Exercise in protecting the Constitution and our Constitutional Process.
Previous recess appointments Bush has made. Have included John Bolton to be
ambassador to the United Nations and Sam Fox, a GOP fund raiser as
ambassador to Belgium.
According to the Senate historian''s office, Bush has made 165 recess appointments,

- Wow so many incoherent babbles. It does not matter who is in office, the other party will trash the leader just to win the next election. And dems these days cry more then a maternity ward. I have seen clips of mrs. clinton supporting the war on Iraq with the same info Bush had. I dont like war. Any one who does is nuts, but our enemies love it. I want to be out of Iraq, but do not wish to leave the Iraqis worse off. No clean way out. :(

- I''m trying to guess who would be the WORST of the Republicons to get in office. My initial reaction would be Mike Huckabee...but, there are so many bad Republicon choices, it could be one of the others...

- Mitt got a photo op serving poor people, he must be for the least of our brother now.
If America is dumb enough to put another Republican in office after 8 years of George Bush, six of those with a overwhelming majority of Republicans controlling the House and Senate, then you need to contact your neurosurgen and schedule a labotomy. - Reply to this comment
- then let me know if you think him to be a good candidate to fill the shoes of the President of the United States.

I think he''s a prefectly fine candidate to fill the shoes of the President of America, right after O J Simpson and Britney Spears. - Reply to this comment
