In Nevada, Presidential Hopefuls Spar Over Health Care And Foreign Policy, Accuse Rivals Of Mudslinging
- Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel are the only two legitimate opposition candidates in the Democratic race--the Republicans have one...Ron Paul.
The rest of these mainstream Republicans and Democrats are going to take you on a "Missouri boat ride"...send you careening down the river of war, taxes, lies, theft...Bush can''t run again...the mainstream candidates are competing to take HIS place and carry out the policies that he has tried to carry out...If you liked Bush, vote for one of them...if not, then vote for freedom, vote for Kucinich, Paul, Gravel or a Third Party... - Reply to this comment
- RON PAUL WINS GOP STRAW POLL IN FRESNO
Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul won the November 15th straw poll at the Salute to Republican Leaders fundraiser hosted by the Fresno County Republican Party. Congressman Paul won with 35 percent, beating Rudy Giuliani, who garnered 33 percent of the vote. This win attests to the strength of the Paul campaign in California. There are over 140 registered Ron Paul volunteers in Fresno among thousands of registered volunteers throughout the Golden State. "Across California, the Paul campaign is energizing new voters to register Republican and is re-registering disaffected Republicans who are excited about Ron Paul%u2019s candidacy and his support of traditional Republican principles," said Jeff Greenspan, Ron Paul%u2019s regional coordinator. In his address to the Fresno County Republican Party, Greenspan said, "We are pleased to support Republican party ideals in California, the Republican party of Fresno County, and the party of Ronald Reagan." Of 41 recent straw polls across the U.S., Ron Paul has won 21, with numerous second and third place finishes. - Reply to this comment
- RON PAUL WINS MISSOURI STRAW POLL
Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul continued his trend of straw poll victories in Springfield, Missouri on October 30. The Texas congressman placed first in the Springfield Metropolitan Republican Club straw poll, in the conservative Ozarks region. He earned more than 77 percent of the vote, polling higher than all his opponents combined. Mike Huckabee placed second with 10 percent. 110 Republican Club members participated in the poll. This is just one in a string of straw poll successes for Congressman Paul. A straw-poll frontrunner, Congressman Paul has the largest number of supporters of any presidential candidate on popular internet social network sites Meetup.com and Youtube.com. "Dr. Paul is bringing the Republican Party together," said Paul campaign chairman Kent Snyder. "Supporters in Missouri and nationwide know that only Dr. Paul can beat Hillary in 2008." The Springfield Metropolitan Republican Club is a Republican grassroots organization in Greene County, Missouri. - Reply to this comment

- realpatriot1--There is always a distinction between what the various candidates and their campaign managers say and what the big interests that they represent are backing them to do...For instance, which Hillary is the real one? She equivocates. Obama has said that we needed to stay in Iraq to take out about 20,000 "activist extremists"...couldn''t ven bring himself to say "insurgents" or "freedom fighters"...and, read his speech at the CFR meeting in Chicago...there is a reason he has the support of one wing of the wealthy Israel-firster Pritzger family. Regardless of what he says...we know where he will stand...He voted against the war...he votes to fund it...That fellow who lives down the road, Edwards, was on the Senate Intelligence Committee that passed on the utter garbage sourced from people like the recently revealed Iraqi souse-chemist... Can he even spell ''due diligence''? Now he fields mad proposals about leaving our support people to train Iraqis...(that''s gone well, hasn''t it)...and remove our combat forces...they want to hide behind time tables, report cards and other idiocies to keep down the tide of popular resistance.
The fact remains, these people funded permanent bases in Iraq and nothing has changed along those line other than to call them..."enduring camps". - Reply to this comment
