- Does "most conservative" mean the most sleazy? The most unscruppulous? Whose true value system means the one most eager and zealous about destroying any American law or value or person in the name of furthering the Republican party and their members?
anything for a party? It would seem so. For why this was the tenor of my post--read the Article on Thompson ---the one he can''t recall--he played such a sleazy part in those politics, that we could almost forgive him if this had taken place in the Big EAsy instead of Tennessee: Thompson Sought Inspector''s Removal
Thompson Had A State Inspector Removed From Oversight Of A Coal Company He Represented In 1980

- "The fool has said in his heart, ''There is no God." The Lord looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to ssee if there are any who understand, who seek God. They have all turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is none who does good, no, not one" ( Ps.14:2-3). Boy, howdy, ain''t it the truth!!

- Again singinrick - I''m not allowed to have a viewpoint in your religion - the religion of your interpretation.
....and I''m not here advertising any website - my biggest example is how I live my life not by throwing out scriptures on a comment board. - Reply to this comment
- "Wealth does not always have to mean "money" IceMan."
-Posted by singinrick at 08:51 AM : Oct 22, 2007
That"s a good distinction.
If you look for the word "gold" in the Book of Proverbs, it always says how much more valuable Wisdom and Righteousness are, than gold and silver.
Proverbs 16:16 "How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!"
Proverbs 22:1 "A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold." - Reply to this comment

- God must have a great sense of humor, to have showered all those blessings on atheistic Sweden, with the world"s highest standard of living, while the most religious Christian part of the United States has the lowest standard of living in the United States, and seems to be repeatedly visited by the Plagues of Exodus.
Good one Iceman - good stuff! LOL! You will now have the plague of singinrick righteous on your hands! - Reply to this comment

Well, I guess nobody"s perfect...

- Why didn''t they ask Ron Paul if he thought he was the most conservative? B/c they know the answer - that man makes the others look like Hillary Clinton.

- "The Bible makes it clear that the wicked will inherit riches upon this earth."
- Posted by singinrick at 08:38 AM : Oct 22, 2007
It does not make that clear at all. Numerous Old Testament verses promise wealth -- in the hear and now -- to the righteous.
That"s just one more area where the Bible is rife with contradictions.

"The Bible also makes it clear that those who bless Israel will be blessed and those who curse her will be cursed."

That"s why Germany was cursed, and now lies crushed and broken today, infested with disease, crushed by poverty, with that Berlin Wall the eternal symbol of her prostration.
Good point. - Reply to this comment

- Wow. I thought this was a political comment blog not a (once again) religious experience. And Icedude, why do you humor rick? Anyway, I wonder how many folks watched this "debate"? With game 7 and football I''d venture to say not many. From the reports I''ve seen this am the gophers were all jockeyin for position to see who was best suited to run against Hillary. Guess they know something we don''t.

- I see the christo-bullies have descended upon this topic, spreading their lies and deceit as usual. I don''t know which invented the tactic, but the GOP and the christo-bullies both do the same thing: tell a lie enough times and the ignorant will soon believe it as true.
Hopefully, the majority of America has awakened to the fact that these "conservatives" are not conservative, and their religious proclamations are nothing but empty rhetoric. America cannot stand another administration supported by the christo-bullies, we''d be doomed for sure. We need intelligence and an adherence to the US Constitution that served us well for over 200 years, not the debacle we''ve suffered during this current administration.
As to prophecies, the bible is about as accurate as a carnival palm reader. Hardly the track record expected from an "omniscient being". How about a deal with you christo-bullies: you mind your church and own life and stay out of the government, and the government will stay out of your church and life. - Reply to this comment
- SINGINGDICK....you just can''t shut your trap I for one never read your evangelism we all know your hiding. Do you really think anyone gets on a news blog to be converted. To be honest most are smarter than the average bear. Give it a rest if you have no comment on the issue people like you do way more harm than good for your cause.

- That was a self-fulfilling prophecy.

-Don''''t you think us Christians have heard this excuse before? Forget the fact that the UN GAVE back that land to the Jews. The UN giving it back is not self-fulfilling , partner.

Who dominated the United Nations at that time ?
England, the United States, and other Bible-believing nations, who saw the religious dimension of that return. - Reply to this comment
- "The return of the nation of Israel in 1948 is was Biblical prophecy, for instance. It was written in the Bible approximately 2,500 years before the fact that the land of Israel would be in exile for a very long time and that eventually the Jews would be given back their land in later times.
This is exactly what happened in 1948. No other book ever written can stake claim to this."

Now you have me weeping.
Tears of laughter.
That was a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Only if the founders of modern Israel had been completely unaware of those Scriptures, would it have qualified as a miraculous fulfillment of prophecy.
Here"s a real prophecy in a real ancient book, that knocks that one for a loop.
