I looking froward to reading CBS news campaign contributions filings at the FEC. I hope you are filing the proper forms at the FEC for you political contribution to some campaigns. Not one word in you article about Ron Paul, who came in third, after your "A Tough Crowd meets Ron Paul" article. Third place is pretty good for a tough crowd. CBS makes campaign contribution masquerading as News. When are you going to start reporting the news.

Mitt Romney is right. The country is very divided along party lines. In 2008 Americans need to elect a president that has the chance to bring the country together.

In my view there are only two candidates that can do that, Mitt Romney and Rudy Giuliani. Both "moderate" conservatives and both owe their political careers to Democrat voters who elected them both.

I like Mitt Romney because of his strong cross-functional experiences private sector, non-profit, and public. In each sector Mitt Romney created great "teams" to solve the problems that each had.

Mitt may well be the most qualified candidate to ever run for president.

It is time for major change and someone "completely" new. For me Mitt Romney is that person/candidate

Romney is just another borrow and spend Conservative. We can''t afford 4 more years of Trickle Down, by that time the Middle Class will be nothing but a fond memory.

Bauer''s doing it to. All of the big-time Republicans are.

Assuming Clinton is going to be the opponent. This is wishful thinking on their part.

I''d like to see Richardson vs Huckabee. Now that would be a true contest of ideas, conducted in a civil fashion. It would raise the level of discourse in American politics. It would be a real choice.

Gulliani will not carry one state that voted Kerry in 2004, plus some........... Romney has the personality of a used car saleman, thus not trustworthy, Thompsons southern accent assures certain defeat, John McCain shows US his psychotic, war mongering roots, Ron Paul wants to abolish social security, Huckabee is a Neocon. Republicons are done. Stick a fork in these losers.

The pro Iraq Cons, no stem cell research Cons, no childrens health care Cons, and the global warming is a hoax Republicons running for Congress, or president, are well documented in the public record. All of these Conservative extremists need to be ablolished in the next election cycle. Better yet, a national referendum to require that the original 11 Confederate States secede from the union. The world community would likely then declare this newly formed country of Cons, a terrorist state.

Cons hoping to make this an anyone but Hillary campaign will backfire and instead guarantee that Hillary wins. I was homophoebic for years until Cons started bashing homosexuals. The source of the hatred made me realize I never want to be like a Con, so their hatred cured me of my homophoebia. Same as Republicon Hillary hatred will serve to get out the vote of fence sitters to for sure vote Hillary as President, thus cleansing oneself of feeling like a filthy, Con-like moron, pig, idiot, jerk, all these things.

These so-called values voters are the epitome of Fascist leaning Christian (NOT) hypocrits. This pathetic bunch has been voting with their heads in the clouds since 1980. Values Voters? Neocon Terrorists is more accurate.

Huckabee is a sweet-faced religious fanatic. It''s difficult to imagine a more terrible choice to lead us into this very difficult period.

I want God and religion out of the poltical process as much as possible. We don''t know which candidate God would support. No one should presume to speak for God.

I saw a "Log Cabin Republican" commercial on either CNN or Fox News endorsing Guilliani because of his support for gay rights.

At first, I thought it was a joke or a satirical commercial... but I wasn''t watching SNL or Mad TV!

It was an actual commercial paid for by the Log Cabin Republicans!

Now, if there''s anything that would encourage the "christian" conservatives to vote against Guilliani for the GOP nomination, then LCR commercials would definitely do it!

Here is an idea, say how anything in my post is not an accurate reflection of the voting habits of these so-called "values" voters. If you find it offensive, then you have tasted just a hint of what those on the receiving end of the intolerance masked as "values" have had to endure for generations.

PaulThompso1,.....I''ve never had to say anything bad about Mr. Huckabee. Yet "We the People" are governed by the Constitution of the United States, not by republican or democratic doctrine. The problem is with candidates suited up as dem''s and rep''s who are members of the CFR which doctrine "trumps" that of our Constitutional Authority. If you don''t believe me then tell me why is their agenda always the only thing that gets accomplished in taking away the sovereignty of our nation? Think about it. The Constitution and the Bill of rights are the only thing between real Christians and the chopping block. I say "real" for a historical reason too. The Constitutional foundation also is fair for those who do not wish to be a Christian, roman catholic, or whatever faith you feel like inserting in this sentence. Ron Paul has proven with his pro-constitutionally correct voting record he will protect your rights as well as the atheists rights. That is why I like being an American. I''m not thirsty for citizenry in any other nation. Not even a little bit.......Ron Paul, the unsocialist in ''08! GO USA!!!
