Giuliani Fails To Convince Summit Crowd Of His Conservative Credentials, Coming In Second To Last
- The BEST the Republishit Party can do is these two idiots ?
Huckabee, who doesn''t believe in the theory of evolution - and Willard Romney, who believes Jesus was a SpaceMan and still listens to a talking White Salamander ?
I can hardly wait for November of 2008!

- same results from florida value voters so no shock from the same group. Unfortunately i dont know if this type of repeat vote marketing means anything since not everyone in the value voters has the means or time to go to these conferences that are not in their state.
But that aside for us value voters that dont have the means or convenience to get to these conferences we felt disenfranchised for their system that blocked peoples votes online.
I am VERY concerned then when the online voting was done my family was blocked by their web voting system. Even though we had different id''s. I was able to vote but my wife wasnt. Neither of us voted for Romney or Huckabee. Nor would we want to given our number one issue is the fight against illegal immigration, which both of these gentleman dance around their history and blind eye of support for while the same time they say something different. When asked they always avoid the full story that locals in arkansas and massachusetts have spelled out.
Sadly this censorship of my families value voting has destroyed my belief in the legitamacy of the FRC.
I surely hope they print a retraction on the results and figure out how to redo their poll for the online.
Also please figure out a way state by state to do a value voting...this method of elite connections isnt going to work for us.. - Reply to this comment
- The Sinner, Rick, claims "atheistic governments have been responsible for more murders than any religion has in the past 2,000 years."
NOT TRUE! If you want to spout that BS, you''re going to have to name the "atheistic governments" you think are responsible and give the death toll. And don''t include Hitler''s Nazis. They were "Christians", every one!
The Crusades lasted for over 800 years!! They ranged across all of Europe and into Asia and Africa. Countless millions were tortured and killed. Then we have the Inquisition''s toll to add to that!
Then let''s just add all the murders of blacks by the "Christian" KKK in this country, and the countless murders of homosexuals by bigoted homophobes who believe that God says "f/ags" are demonic.
And, if Cheney gets his way, you can add the destruction of the entire world, yet to happen, by Little Georgie Bush, the "born-again Christian" who wants to kill every Muslim person in the world and steal their oil.
Atheists are NOT responsible for all this death and destruction. It''s the religious NUT jobs who do all the killing. Each group of lunatics thinks THEY and THEY ALONE are "chosen", and everyone else must be wiped off the planet, "for the Glory of God".
You are a Sinner, Rick. And no matter how much gobbeltygook you believe, no matter how much BS you "profess", it won''t change things a bit. You are dammed by your own ignorance. - Reply to this comment

the preponderance of evidence suggests neither. - Reply to this comment
- Rick''s back, ladies and gentlemen, with more from the superstitious fringe
"Atheism=lack of any moral authority which equates to no boundaries when it comes to the way your fellow human being is treated."
Rick''s version of Christianity=same as above, especially when the "other" humans have a different religion than his, or don''t subscribe to any.
"To atheists, no moral authority = no consequences for your actions when you die."
To Rick, no moral authority+ no consequences for your actions while you live
"Oh how sadly wrong atheists are."
Oh how sadly right wing Rick is. - Reply to this comment
- Mitt may well be the most qualified candidate to ever run for president. "--Posted by perception5
Your a$$! In what way is the rich little silver spoon boy "qualified"? After dodging the Vietnam draft by his rich governor father, also a Mormon big cheese, pronouncing him to be a "minister" because he was handing out Mormon tracts to French housewives, his well-financed and well-connected family gave him a nice warm little job that he never earned on his own merits.
Admittedly he''s smarter than the current Repug occupant, Bushit--but they''re both cut from the same cloth--spoiled rich kids who never "earned" a thing in their lives. - Reply to this comment
- PaulTompso1''s complaint about whatever brianbwb said got me curious, so I went looking to see what Brian had said. It turns out Brian is totally, 100% accurate. His premise, in a nutshell, is:
"Values" is the Republican code word for racism, and religious and cultural intolerance.
All of my family have been repugs since the 1940''s, and possibly even longer. Racism and religious and cultural intolerance have been hallmarks of the repugs for all of that time. It''s hard to understand how anyone could be oblivious to that. Another hallmark of the repug party is misogyny.
Repugs are the party of HATE. They hate the children, they hate their women, they hate workers, they hate homosexuals, they hate unions, they hate Mexicans, they hate blacks, they hate Asians, they hate our soldiers, they hate "libs", they hate the environment... they are defined by their hate!
Do they love anything? Yes: money, greed, power, war, destruction, torture, death, slavery, the status quo (that''s what they want to "conserve")! - Reply to this comment
- Isn''t it about time for the Bornagain Endtimers to be taken off the planet in the Rapture?
May it happen soon! Let the space people show up in their flying saucers and take all the Endtimers to live on Haley''s comet. Then at last maybe we can have some peace and quiet from their incessant yammering. - Reply to this comment

- "Value" voters who shop at Wal Mart, K Mart and various other stores who purchase goods made in China, Korea and Vietnam where abortion is mandatory on the "second" child born. "Value" voters who continue to support this policy through their choice of "politicians". Where are their "Values" ?

You will be so disappointed when the landslide of votes puts Hillary where she belongs, and that is back in the kitchen. The new wave of Conservatives are coming in to protect this country from Muslims, illegals and cultural demise. It''s time the people were heard and it''s time for the government to enforce laws and follow the constitution. Congratulation to Bobby Jindal. More to folow. - Reply to this comment

- Ron Paul, third place, it''s not News at CBS, or is it a political contribution masquerading as News at CBS?
Kind of makes me wonder about the Value Voter, and family values. Mitt Romney and his lawyer winning so many votes in their straw poll, I guess these Value Voter don''t care about what kind of Country they leave to their Children. They don''t care if Presidents knows the job description written in the Constitution. They don''t care about the Law of the Land, or that the President and Congress are expected to uphold the Law of the Land. Don''t care about the eroding freedoms of their Children, freedoms and rights lost, that their Children will never see again.
Ron Paul told Mitt Romney, "Just Read the Constitution!", probably wasn''t News at CBS. - Reply to this comment
- GEORGE/SKYKE -- Why dont you guys/girls go vote for a Democrat? Then you can give more of your money (via taxation) to the cause.
Better yet, if your a middle class business owner, and after your hit with higher taxes by the Dumb-o-crats, then you can start laying off your workers to recoup your losses... - Reply to this comment
