radiob, you have to be joking, 17 contenders for the so called "top job", how many billions are spent on that.. When the world is full of people starving, dying and sickness and every 4 years they spend billions of that, all I can do is shake my head.. Here in OZ our elections are coming up in November or December, and still the date hasn''t been called, but this year the left have been running an American type of campaign for months..our running time is normally only about 6 weeks, that is all any contender needs to show what is what, any more than that is just a waste of time and money, and people get so sick of it..

Al Gore is nothing more than a spokeman for the chicken littles. It can''t hurt to cut emissions but it certainly is not going to save the earth. The chicken littles that actually believe all this *** are unwilling to even listen to cooler heads. I have read numerous articles stating that biofuels create more greenhouse gasses than does oil. Now that we will use our food for fuel what are we going to eat? Feed for cattle will rise as well as the price for meat not to mention corn. Ruining the food chain for this idiocity is too much. I also read that the sun is gradually weakening and we will eventually increase global cooling by what we are about to do. I am happy fo Al for winning the prize but its too bad that its all chicken little feed.

The Real Deal Concerning The Global Warming Algenda!

The bottom Line! Use your intelligence because Goreee & the News Media will not come out directly. Read the fine print. According to Al Goooreee, Cackling Clinton & Chronies in Congress. there''s just too many Babies being born! Thus Contributing to this Queer Phenomena leading to Too much consumin going around aut there.

Whether Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Etc. we must support Brother Al''s Religion in finding ways to save Our Beloved Planet at all costs.

Even if, essentially , it cannot be proven. After all, the earth is now Trillions of years old. Other than speculation, what was it really like in the beginning so very long ago.

Maybe it''s time to not only SMOKE but also INHALE what Brother Al is smoking or has been taking. So we can fool all the people all the time or just believe everything that comes along.

s1ckd09 you are so funny and so right eheheheheh you answer made me laugh.. thanks...you said....

Because "laughter is the best medicine", so by giving this award to Al Gore, there should be people all over the world feeling much better right about now.

Well s1ckd09 if we aren''t laughing, he is...as I said before, the noble prize is no longer a prize..

From my lack of knowledge about the atmosphere, doesn''t more carbon dioxide in the air make plant life flourish, and a flourishing plant life on earth would increase the amount of oxygen in the air and isn''t oxygen very, very good for our health??? making the air better for our health than it is today.. plants absorb what is bad to us, so if the earth gets warmer for what ever reason all I can see is a win win situation .. could it be natures way of cleaning up what we so desperately seem to try to destroy..and remember that vikings grew crops in Iceland only a few hundred years ago...

s1ckd09 the media wont print what scientists who are against global warming or should I say, scientists who say all this is normal.. Just as they wouldn''t print the people who said that there WAS definitely Weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and that they were shipped out just before Bush went in, even one of Saddam''s very close aids said so..
WHY do they want us to believe the opposite?? what is their agenda??? what is the media (which is mostly left as it is here in Australia and the world) wanting us to become with their bias reporting..What is the media''s agenda???
There needs to be questions asked eh,, truth lies dead in the streets now days.. instead it is replaced with an agenda..

sorry s1ckd09, from the article below my last one I took it that you were saying that you were in agreement with Al gore, that all scientists agreed with it but a couple..

And for those who do not think that there are many scientists out there who think global warming is against the norm firstly read up on this..

Journalistic Balance as Global Warming Bias
Creating controversy where science finds consensus

By Jules Boykoff and Maxwell Boykoff

A new study has found that when it comes to U.S. media coverage of global warming , superficial balance%u2014telling "both" sides of the story%u2014can actually be a form of informational bias. Despite the consistent assertions of the United Nations-sponsored Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that human activities have had a "discernible" influence on the global climate and that global warming is a serious problem that must be addressed immediately, "he said/she said" reporting has allowed a small group of global warming skeptics to have their views greatly amplified.

Global Warming is a total Joke and you all have been duked!

1st of all, Is Al Gore God? Nope, so who is he to say what is the right temp for our planet.

2nd The drive by media and their consensus talk is total BS The only consensus is that its getting warmer, and thats only over the last 100 years. They havent even been keeping data long enough to make an accurate reading.

3rd. How is taxing us more going to help with a solution to Global Warming. GIve me a real soulution.

4th. That movie ICT has more holes then our ozone.

5th. Everyone should pick up after themselves and recycle, but Don''t tell me to bike to work as you get off you 5th private plane ride of the week, turn some lights off in your mansion, before I change my light bulbs.

Finnaly Lose some weight you loser, and get over the 2000 election, you lost fair and square and have gone isane with all this Global Warming made up drama ever since.

Ive got a great bumper sticker on my car.

It says

I Love Global Warming

Answer a question. What does Global warming have to do with peace? Answer another question. Why didn''''t he win the Nobel prize for science?

Hey MyIDonCBS,

Those "one or two scientists that disagree with the "consensus" sure have been busy:

Ahhh, I see the problem now. In my post I was responding to another post, but forgot to include the signature. My comments were after the "=========".

I agree completely with you, and I was also going to say the same thing. Specifically, that a cooler climate causes FAR MORE death and chaos.

s1ckd09, this warming will cause chaos and death?

How do you know this? This is simply a prediction.

Algore used Katrina to "prove" Global Warming and since ''05 we''ve had 2 incredibly quiet hurricane seasons.

Algore is WRONG AGAIN.

Alfred Nobel established the Nobel prize out of feelings of guilt for inventing the most powerful explosives of the time. The prize was supposed to be given to people who figure out how not to blow each other up. Figuring out how not to have people be one degree warmer doesn''t really qualify.

Al Gore was involved with the "Live Earth Concert" which
was held last July which ostensibly was to raise awareness about Global Warming. John Stewart''s The Daily Show did a piece on it showing people having a good time with the music primarily: http://video.aol.com/video-detail/daily-show-mandvi-live-earth/2310902469
The trash strewn about the parking lots and concert seats were particularly telling.

And I find it interesting that to get the book "The Live Earth Global Warming Survival Handbook", which suggests ways to become more environmentally responsible, you have to fork over a few bucks. Why not make the suggestions free to download on a pdf or available on a website if you''re really trying to raise awareness about GW? BTW, the author of the book is a goofy-looking member of the Rothschild family:
http://www.amazon.com/Earth-Global-Warming-Survival-Handbook/dp/159486781X/ref=sr_1_1/105-6221767-6515669?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1192250624&sr=8-1

I believe that GW is a real risk to the future of our planet and so I am saddened by stunts like these.
