why not you all take a few minutes to give a *** about americas future.

http://rockthetruth.blogspot.com/2007/10/ron-paul-peoples-candidate.html

Some say Dr Paul is weak on national defense but that couldn''t be further from the truth. Dr Paul voted for going after the people who attacked us on 9/11 & is the only candidate who keeps asking why we stopped looking for Osama bin Laden & attacked Iraq instead.
**It should be noted that the head of the CIA''s Osama bin Laden task force has endorsed Dr Paul.**

Even Former Pres Reagan was a Dr Paul supporter "Ron Paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense. As a former Air Force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first. We need to keep him fighting for our country!" And when Ronald Reagan said that about Ron Paul, he was right & he still is.

Ron Paul hasn''t changed. The Republican Party has, & not for the better.

If you want a candidate who has integrity, a candidate who has a clear record of consistency, & a candidate who cannot be bought by special interests and corporate fatcats, you want Ron Paul.

Return to the Constitution. Restore the Republic.

Vote Ron Paul in 2008.

In his own words, "He was an unwavering advocate of pro-life [doesn''t think women should have control over their own bodies] and pro-family values [hates ***]. Dr. Paul consistently voted to lower or abolish federal taxes [actually tried to get the 16th Amendment repealed]." Check it out: www.renewamerica.us/issues/ron_paul.htm

In other words, he''s a slight variation on the typical right-wing lunatic. Coo Coo time.

From this article and the postings I read, it looks like most people are really misinformed about Paul''''s and the other candidate''''s stand on the issues.

FORBES.COM AT
http://www.forbes.com/opinions/2007/10/01/election-candidates-politics-oped-cz_rp_1002paul.html offered all the presidential candidates an opportunity to answer a questionnaire and provide a short essay on their campaign platform. Ron Paul responded with the a good summary of his position.

On this site there are also charts which show the liberal or conservative ratings of each candidate based on their stands on 5 major issues.

One thing that is clear from the Forbes analysis: There is not very little political differences between Hillary Clinton, Barak O''''Bama, John Edwards, Joe Biden, Bill Richardson,in their political views--only the details differ.

For more information on how the ratings were determined see http://www.forbes.com/2007/10/01/election-candidates-politics-oped-cz_jb_pmm_1002electionintro.html

Please, dear God, please let him run as an independent!! Democrats should return the favor Republicans did for Ralph Nader when they worked so hard and invested in Ralph''s campaign to get his name on the ballot. Republicans are the masters of dirty tricks, and it''s high time they got some of their own medicine.

Like other people who posted comments here, I also take offense to this article referring to Ron Paul as a Libertarian hiding out in the Republican party.

Paul stands for the old values of the Republican party which were small government, little spending, and little government involvement in our lives, and a foreign policy that entails a diplomatic approach backed up by military might.

Paul is the only candidate worth considering in the presidential race. He has my vote because he is the only one who can be trusted to represent us, not oil, not Israel, and not the weapons industry.

Thanks CBS!!!!

Want to know more about Dr. Ron Paul:

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

likeitis5050,.......I was just thinking after reading your recent posts about how our country might have been if we had the Internet say 30 years ago using our 1st. Amendment rights like we are now. Before we were in such deep trouble of course. The "dizzy" crack was a good one! :)
