What Does The Future Hold For The $5 Million Man?
- sesanders1--If you think the federal government is protecting you, think again...just ask the families of those murdered by Merck Pharmaceuticals with Vioxx.
The FDA has done nothing for them...they did burn Stevia cookbooks and make Celestial Seasonings take stevia out of Red Zinger Tea...do you feel safer?
Ron Paul is going to address his monetary policy and plans to replace the Federal Reserve on October 10, on the Genesis Communications Network...I think the program is called ''Crash, Are You Ready?''
His plan for Social Security is to do away with it gradually so that it doesn''t hurt those who are on it or who have paid into it. It is an insane system. If you look at what we put in as opposed to what we get, it is horrific...You can pay into it till age 65 and die the next day and get nothing for you ''contribution''. If you have real money that holds it value, you don''t need to buy a pension from the government for a multiple of what you will be getting in return. - Reply to this comment
- The problem with the Libertarian approach is what it does to society. Everybody prefers not to pay for what we share but when we don''t society erodes - bridges collapse, regulation gets so thin that mortgage companies encourage fraudulent over-selling, levies are neglected, private companies who are cronies of a few in power make off with the too small funds for aid to cities.
I know that Libertarians believe that we are best off each preserving our own resources and letting the chips fall where they may and hoping that private charity will make up for social neglect, but the direction societies which make this choice go is down - more crime, more disease, more collapse for everyone.
Strong societies provide mutual aid, public works and education and today the most advanced societies offer healthcare. We are falling so far behind while a few at the top make off with huge fortunes.
I want to live in a strong America where we care for each other at a minimal level. I could not support a candidate like Ron Paul. Low taxes mean inadequate government of the few, by the few and for the few. - Reply to this comment

- Ron Paul promises to take this country back to the early days of unregulated socioeconomic meth use days of Reagan. The early years when the body was stronger with an infrastructure which included a middle class. Now that the garden is picked over with deregulated abuse and the nation is strung out on neo con meth all the socieconomic meth abusers are seduced into thinking the return of the early days neo conism can return.

- If Americans don%u2019t wake up their will be nothing left, our Nation is broke and Wall Street is the only people making a profit. While the Hidden inflation tax continues to rise and the value of the dollar declines. Ron Paul is the only one who truely understands this, and honestly if he is not elected America should be prepared for a real economic depression like it has never seen before.
Unless you want a North American Union and a new currency the "Amero" split with Canada and Mexico. And lose all your rights and freedom. Vote For Ron Paul 2008!
So my advice is to bypass the media and spread the word to your family and friends about him. The power of the People is far greater than a campaign spending 10''s of million to buy an image. Because this man is a real American Hero. He has dedicated his life to this country and everyone in it, and now he is trying to save it from disaster.
Spread The Word! Go Ron Paul 2008!

- Exactly, chrisconlin, the question of abortion is not a federal question.
Ron Paul is a Libertarian within the context of the Constitution...within the context of our supreme law.
The federal government was not assigned power to decide the issue of abortion....it was not assigned the power to make war without a declaration of war by the Congress--and Congress is not granted the power to transfer its powers to any other part of government or to any other body. - Reply to this comment
- As president, Ron Paul would be able to set policy for the IRS...he would be able to end the abuses. If Congress wanted to continue the income tax, it would have to pass additional legislation allowing the federal government to legally collect taxes on income derived from labour.
He can start the hard work of dealing out the private bankers who control our financial system.
I''m so sick of hearing nay-sayers and intellectual and moral cowards tell us that nothing can be done about this un-Constitutional Regime so we might as well support the candidates that have the support of this evil system...Because some lack the gumption to stand up to tyranny, doesn''t mean that everyone should abase themselves before the Demopublican Regime.
It doesn''t cost you a cent to stand up to this tyranny by supporting a Constitutionalist--if you vote for his opponents, you are voting for big government and lose in any event. - Reply to this comment
- There is no social security, right now for every 2.5 person working there is 1 retired. You honestly think when 75 Million baby Boomer retire by 2010 there will be anything left? This country is already broke we are borrowing 3 Billion a day to be the World Police. It is time we focused on our country and our families. While restoring the government to the people. With all this wasteful spending eliminated we can, Ron Paul is telling you this everytime he speaks! Vote Ron Paul 2008

- What''s antiquated is the idea that a country as big and diverse as U.S.A. can be governed by a gigantic central govt. How large can we grow.
