Edwards Reports $7M For Quarter; Thompson Raises Over $11M
- Mrs. Clinton is just as corrupt as the current white house occupants:
"Bill Clinton used his influence to kill a GQ magazine story that painted an unflattering portrait of infighting in the Clinton campaign. He reportedly threatened to withdraw his co-operation on another story unless the article about his wife was dropped. The story was later killed. As well as showing the campaign''s hardball attitude, the incident also showed the huge benefits of having Bill Clinton on your side in any political contest."

As one of the many proud "everyday-American" contributors to the Obama campaign I share his audacity of hope that a grassroots political movement can uproot entrenched politicians who are in it just to win the game. This is not a game, this is the future of our country. - Reply to this comment

- "The best reason to vote for Ron Paul is because his own party don''''t want him running..."

The solution is simple. Make there be consequences. Promise to vote for Obama or whichever Democrat is nominated, if the GOP hypocrisy/censorship continues.
If he is so awful, there should be no reason to exclude the guy. He does not "stand a chance", so they ought not have anything to fear. Hand it all to the pathetic Democrats as a matter of simple cause-and-effect. The GOP will change their tune pretty fast. You just need a line in the sand. Let Obama be it -- that guy is delusional so he is perfect for the job. - Reply to this comment
- He''s got Oprah Winfrey in his camp, that''s where the funds are coming from, all the people she can influence, and that''s a lot of people. Whether those funds turn into votes remains to be seen.

- GOP has no one worth voting for.

- We KNOW Obama can raise money; of course he can!! He has the largest support of the liberal elite, who have the money. But anyone who follows politics over the years knows the Democratic nominee is the one who gets the Black vote and the blue collar; centrist democratic vote; and right now, that''s Hillary, not Obama. It also shows the extreme weakness of the MoveOn.org ideology of the far left; the far left candidates cheered by the far left muster at most 50% of the democratic primary vote...Obama, Edwards - they''ll continue raising money, but this race is essentially over unless one of them can start closing the gap on the Democratic moderates and the African-American vote. Richardson had a chance to be the Hillary alternative in the center, but blew that with his hard charge left on Iraq (no one now believes that doable or smart, with Iran sitting in wait), despite his moderate positions across the remainder of the spectrum. Hillary will be the Dem nominee, and unless the GOP nominates a moderate like Giuliani or McCain, she will cakewalk through the general election just like the primaries.

- There should be a cap on how much these people raise.
Hillary has over $30 million? Anyone running for president, Dems or Rebs are being bought and paid for by special interests and lobbiests, which tells us our best interest is not their main agenda. - Reply to this comment
