mbcsmith,,,,, Nope, but you are that stupid ---- It''s not an "Anti-War Bill" whatsoever,, It also forces a change of direction in the war, which is obviously needed...
.. And neither are liberals "Anti-War", some liberals are most are not & the same is true in the republican party, some are Anti-War ---- We all want a successfull outcome & Bush has FAILED TO PROVIED THAT

That''s right mbcsmith, poignant. Hateful? Sure, but with the hate directed where it belongs: the repubes party and RINOS who are even worse. We see a lot of em on these boards. Riddle me this: Why is binposladen, the real enemy still out there farting audio/video tapes, when the snake should be half eaten by worms by now? Loony-toon does not care.

Just calling the bill to give our troops the time for training & rest they need an "Anti-War Bill" is a betrayal of trust to America -
-- It actually forces this administration to increase the numbers for our military to insure an honorable outcome.

mbcsmith,,,, General Petreaus, or General Betrayus ?? -- Was not a accuasation against our military or his service,, it was a good question....
... As it turned out Petreaus refused to speak truth to power, as we found out it is a betrayal to our troops & country -

--- Bush should be reprimanded for his lies, & the GOP should be reprimanded for the waste of time in Congress to promote that dishonorable rhetoric.

mbcsmith,,
,, Actually I try to make a point of watching Bush every time he speaks ---- He makes a monkey out of himself decieving America about the lack of progress & the spin on Iraq...
.. He still blames the massive failures & Humanitarian Crises he did on Hussein & attacking Democrats in Congress every time he speaks. --
--- Start watching him youself

Hearing you and nodding in agreement.

If Bush and Co have no respect for governing this country with democracy and transparency, then doesn''t it seem plausible that he isn''t in Iraq to spread democracy either?

Why do his supporters insist that he is altruist in the Middle East but totally run amuck on the Constitution of his own country and has left the US to run herself while he has spent both his terms of presidency off pretending to play war but really, living in luxury, traveling the world on taxpayer dollars, and dining with queens.

You don''t act one way at home and act another in a foreign country. The dark mean character Bush displays at home is the same dark mean character he is using to forward his war overseas and it isn''t altruistic.

mbcsmith,,,, Speaking of logic & common sense ---- Mandela is not dead, Posted by j-whitman at 03:37 PM : Sep 21, 2007

You really aren''t that stupid are you? If you watched or even read the President''s remarks, you would know that he was saying that there were no leaders in Iraq to come out of the populace, like Mandella, because Saddam had killed them all.
Your ignorance is overwhelming. Try the teletubbies at 6:30. More your speed.

mbcsmith,,,, Speaking of logic & common sense ---- Mandela is not dead, Iraq security is a farce along with any Iraqi progress ---- General Petreaus still doesn''t speak truth to power & that is a betrayal of trust to our troops & our country.

The republican playbook" Say "HEY America", stick up middle finger, watch American blood run in the streets of the failed mission in Iraq, then run away like little girls never to be heard from again. Then the left will make our country whole again as the grand ol'' follies fade away into obscurity, till they, one by one get caught with their pants down-literally.

AaaBee,,, Change in the wrong direction is all this GOP & Bush is about, they don''t waste an opertunity to show it & lie to America --
--- Bush is the most dishonorable President in our history,,,,, He still paints the Iraq War of Roses as Rosey, it''s the biggest humanitarian crises since the Holocaust.

"Dems Fail Again To Pass Anti-War Bill"

Hum, nicely worded headlines! What if these headlines read:

Neocons Fail Again to Allow Troops to Come Home.

Or: Conservatives Successful in Blocking Ending War, Against the Wishes of Entire Nation

Or: Senate Congratulates Itself in Continuing Loss of Iraqi and US Lives in Useless War

Or: Bush Wins Again, Using His Cronies to Back His Bogus War.
