I would suggest to Mr. Huckabee take a look at the roster of candidates from the Republican side of the aisle, and then the Democratic if he wants to know why minorities and women support Democrats.

Republican front runners.
White male
White male
White male

Democratic front runners.
Woman
Black male
White male

And a bit further down the list, a hispanic male.

You can go down the Republican list from here to next week, and all you will see is:
White Male.
*************
The Republican party no longer represents the majority of Americans, on issues, or on diversity.

Isn''t that what Senator Larry Craig was doing "Reaching out for a minority!" ?

In response to Huckabee''''''''s suggestion that they reach out to minorities, the GOP has unveiled a campaign to strengthen their ties amoung beer-bellied red necks, mullet-wearing inbreeds, and klansmen.

Micma - so for a second there, I thought you took the beer-belly off of your sentence. So, you DO have a beer-belly. Freekin-A, I knew you''ve always been a klansman, and a mullet-wearing inbred redneck (the reason you are so certain Huckabee appeals to you), but the beer-belly IS a surprise.

"As time goes by and election day looms, the reality
of things will outweigh the GOP and MSM spin, and sheer panic will reign in the Republican ranks.
The real deal is, they will be anhilated at the polls, in heretofore not seen numbers, in every single race up for grabs. After the dust settles and they remove their dead and wounded from the field, they''''ll be left with only their personal thoughts as to how they could have got so caught up in their own lies and spin, that they started to believe them themselves. RIP, GOP.....you guys really do suck.

I do LOVE it when those liberals are frustrated. Veteran71 must believe that if he says it enough it will come true. Well, the good news veteran71 is that is so. The bad news is, only in your dreams; and, when you wake up it is back to reality.

You are a credit to your party.

Gov. Huckabee conviently forgets that he and the rest of the GOP field snubed the black and hispanic vote when they declined to participate in the black and hispanic national forum debates. On the other hand, the Democratic candidates all participated. Gov. Huckabee would be well advised to remember his actions. They speak louder than his words.

Let''s have a big round-of-applause for the Democrat party of "diversity" and "tolerance".

Every time a Republican appoints an African-American to a high-level position, that person is attacked by other black people as an "Uncle Tom". You see, Republicans are supposed to be racists, so they are not allowed to appoint minorities. So when they do, those people are criticized bt the Democrats as sell-outs.
