Leviticus? I love the way some people select certain passages in the Bible to preach hate, but ignore the rest of it. Heterosexuals have been ruining the "institution" of marriage pretty good all by themselves. Hope you preach hate for people who get divorced, eat shell fish, and enter the church while menstrating (unclean) as much as you do for people who are expressing their love for eachother.

BTW: *** and lesbians are not attempting to destroy marriage, they are embracing it!

Leviticus 18:22 (It''s Detestable !)
-----------------------------------------------
Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman, that is detestable.
-----------------------------------------------
Leviticus 20:13 (Again it''s called: Detestable !)
-----------------------------------------------
If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable.
----------------
Leviticus 20:13 (Folks engaged in homosexual, Immoral or adultery will NOT enter Heaven !)
----------------
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders.

Like it or not, the ultimate and finale judge says its wrong and gave some stern warnings regarding practicing homosexuality and same six marriage

razzl: you are a disillusioned soul if you think the majority of Americans approve gay marriage. They approve of civil unions containing the same legal rights, they do not approve on the institution of marriage being lowered into the cesspool of secular progressive/liberals

hey, bushies - YAWN. lame arguments that don''t even begin to hide your hatred of ***. come up with something new or hurry up and pass on so the next, more tolerant, more informed generation of americans can legalize gay marriage and we can move onto something more interesting.

Barring a ruling on appeal, this will set up the classic political triangulation of our time which is unravelling the GOP: Iowa voters will demand that Presidential candidates express an opinion on the matter, the Republican candidates will feel compelled to say that gay marriage rights must not be allowed even though the majority of voters there like everywhere else believe they should, and the Democrats will side with the majority of public opinion to say the rights are appropriate. By embracing "values" at odds with a tolerant public''s view on almost every issue the GOP is pouring the gasoline on its own fire and lighting its own match...

I believe many, if not all, gay marriage bans will be overturned on the Equal Protection Under Law concept. It''s people like Foley, Haggard, Craig that find legal gay marriage weakens their hetro marriage. Maybe these people should be honest with themselves in the first place.

I have no idea who this loser judge is, but he is the epitome of an ''activist judge.'' Judgement has no basis in the rule of law....he stuck it down because it was ''mean spirited.''

I''d be willing to be my paycheck that he is a CLinton or Carter appointee.
